Los ganadores de clásicos y de carreras especiales reciben letra NEGRITA MAYÚS- CULA. Si los ejemplares solamente obtuvieron figuraciones (del 2do. al 5to. puesto) en dicho tipo de pruebas se presentan en negrita minúscula. Las actuaciones de los caballos y sus antecesores se dan en la forma más completa posible. Por motivo de espacio se da preferencia a los mejores representantes de cada generación. ABREVIATURAS Las abreviaturas más comunes son las del color o pelaje de los caballos: a = alazán, c = castaño, c. o. = castaño oscuro, t = tordillo, z = zaino El año que aparece luego del color de los caballos es el de su nacimiento y luego el nombre de su padre. Todos los datos son tomados del correspondiente “Stud Book”, que es la denominación de las entidades que llevan el registro genealógico de caballos en los diversos países del mundo que controlan la producción de caballos pura sangre de carrera. Otras abreviaturas: De sexo: h = hembra, m = macho H. = Handicap, S. = Stakes; cl. = clásico; esp. = especial; Pr. = Premio (Prix); G. P. = Gran Premio (Grand Prix). Los clásicos (stakes) pueden ser de las siguientes categorías empezando por la más importante: (G1) = Grupo Uno; (G2) = Grupo Dos; (G3) = Grupo Tres; (L) = Listado. Cuando los clásicos o stakes no tienen estas categorías también son relevantes por estar encima del nivel común de competencias.
