Ltd. FORM I Project falls within Residential zone as per the Master Plan of Ludhiana and layout has been approved by Town and Country Planning Punjab, Chandigarh. Copy of approved layout is enclosed as Annexure-6. 1.4 Pre-construction investigations Yes The Pre-construction investigations had e.g. bore houses, soil testing? already been done prior to development work. 1.5 Construction works? As per revised details: The total actual population of the project is 5,827 persons. The water requirement as per Manual on Water Supply & Treatment, Government of India @ 135 lpcd for residential and @ 35 lpcd for floating is approx. 643 KLD which will be abstracted from tubewell. The water calculations along with water balance diagram are given in the Conceptual Plan. Approx. 526 KLD of sewage will be generated from the project. This wastewater will be treated in a proposed STP of 550 KLD capacity; out of which 150 KLD STP has already been installed. Solid waste of about 2043 kg/day will be generated (@ 0.40 kg/capita/day for residential and @ 0.20 kg/capita/day for floating). The solid waste will be collected in designated place where segregation of Biodegradable & Non-Biodegradable waste will be done at source. 2 Mechanical Composters of 500 kg/day capacity will be installed for Biodegradable waste.
