The total number of cases notified since the beginning of the outbreak is 312,806 with 6,484 deaths (CFR: 2.07%). Out of the total 8,825 currently active cases, 708 cases are hospitalized, out of which 490 (69.21%) are in critical condition. 8,117 COVID-19 positive cases are at designated isolation facilities or in-home isolation. A total of 297,497 (95.11%) have recovered and discharged.

at Ramada Hotel, Islamabad. During the occasion WR Pakistan also launched “old-age wellbeing in Pakistan” the Annual Report for 2020 Objective of the celebration was to Raise awareness on the special health needs of older persons, appreciatee the role of the Dr Palitha Mahipala, WHO Country representative Pakistan and Dr. health care workforce in maintaining and improving the health of Nausheen Hamid Parliamentary Secretary for MoNHSR&C launched older persons and inform participants about the strategic the annual report 2020 on “old-age wellbeing in Pakistan”. objectives for the Decade of Healthy Ageing.
