Your responses: “So whaf do you think about..." Guys with long hair?

“I was a long haired guy myself for a few weeks my junior year. For the 2 weeks it lasted it was great, so long as I didn't go outside. Then it was just blinding as the wind whipped my hair into my eyes. It wasn't going to work, so I got rid of my long curls for something a little more practical. I think every guy should grow their hair out at least once in their lifetime (or at least before they lose it). However, I also think most guys shouldn't have long hair. It takes a special wig to pull it off and make it look good. Most guys with hair longer than the Cedarville average (that average being somewhere between military cut and Backstreet Boy) do it because they just flat out like it. It's nice not to blend in with the crowd and it makes it easier for people to remember your name. I think people just need to realize that bad is bad is bad. Long hair can look bad on a guy the same way short hair can. I personally don't have short hair, but I'm nowhere close to breaking handbook. Why? Because I like it, and my girlfriend plays with the curls. “ -Darren Reckner

“A very, very, very good thing....” -Sarah Brahler

"I think guys with long hair is what college is all about. It is all well and good to maintain a dignified educational environment, but if long hair is a way for us to express our youth and rebellion in a constructive manner...plus, winter is coming, and by using our hair as covering for our ears, we save cost of hat materials. Not very often can you be cool AND cost efficient at the same time!" V___- Justin Ippoliti______8 CEDARS- September 26, 2003 Viewpoints Letter to the Editor: From Jason Ney that, to be students.
