I think it might depend on which recording you're playing to. I found a couple off notes, but it's also difficult to keep an 8:00 song to a couple pages, so I think they make some exceptions and get the general groove/note choice. I like it so far. Plenty of songs to choose from! Geddy Lee is one of the true masters of the bass and this book is a great way to venture into his world. Having the lyrics along with the tab are a great help for bassists having trouble finding their way.While this book won't make you play like Geddy, it will make it possible to play along and have some fun at the same time. It's great! I would hope to be able to find more Rush bass tabs on other albums available. This is a really great collection of RUSH songs and the bass riffs that Geddy plays are extremely difficult to learn my ear. Thanks for making this. Relatively spot on, but some of the positions they have you play in are just plain wrong (at least in comparison to how Ged does it). Ex. playing the bass "solo" in "Freewill" in mostly open position and the same for "Closer to the Heart." That just makes it more difficult and is not how Ged plays it. this is the way i see it.have read reviews that this book is not completely accurate.it must be close enough,or right on it.it's the same book Rush endorses on their web site.sure it may not have the same flare compared to what you see in concert.that's why concerts are live.this is most likely,what you hear come from your cd... I wish a transcriber for once would have the decency to write what Geddy Lee is actually playing. This is a horrible tablature book and I would not recommend it to anyone. I can learn by ear but It would have been nice to have had a little help with this book to save some time, but I guess that is out of the question. If you want to learn what he is "not doing" then buy this book. Unhappy am I! Purchased the Kindle version and did not like at all. I've used Tab books in the past and they work well for me. Thought I'd try a Kindle version, didn't care for the small text, you can zoom into the page but I prefer to view the whole sheet. I've order the standard paperback version for my collection... This crashes the android kindle app (on nexus 10). Formed in August 1968, Rush would join artists like Pink Floyd and Yes in shaping the music movement that would come to be categorized as “progressive” rock, or “prog rock,” a rock music sub-genre that Rush.
