STREITO 3 Depuis la parution du volume Coreoidea de la série « Faune de France », de nombreuses publications, essentiellement faunistiques, ont paru qui permettent de préciser les données bio-écologiques ou la distribution de nombreuses espèces. Parmi ces publications il convient de signaler la « Checklist » de FARACI & RIZZOTTI-VLACH (1995) pour l’Italie, celle de V. PUTSHKOV & P. PUTSHKOV (1997) pour l’Ukraine, la seconde édition du « Verzeichnis der Wanzen Mitteleuropas » par GÜNTHER & SCHUSTER (2000) et l’impressionnante contribution de DOLLING (2006) dans le « Catalogue of the Heteroptera of the Palaearctic Region ». En outre, certains travaux qui m’avaient échappé ou m’étaient inconnus lors de la préparation de cet ouvrage ont été depuis ré-analysés ou étudiés. Munis Entomology & Zoology, 1 (1): 123-128] ABSTRACT: Three junior homonyms were detected amongst the Lepidoptera and the following replacement names are proposed: Neoeriocera nom. nov. for Eriocera Guenée, 1852 (Noctuidae: Calpinae), Latiphea nom. nov. for Lobocheilos Hampson, 1891 (Noctuidae: Acontiinae) and Kocakina nom. nov. for Himella Grote, 1874 (Noctuidae: Hadeninae). Accordingly, new combinations are herein proposed for the species currently included in these genera: Neoeriocera mitrula (Guenée, 1852) comb. nov. for Eriocera mitrula Guenée, 1852; Latiphea berresoides (Hampson, 1893) comb. nov. for Lobocheilos berresoides Hampson, 1893; Latiphea plana (Swinhoe, 1890) comb. nov. for Lobocheilos illattioides Hampson, 1891 and Kocakina fidelis (Grote, 1874) comb. nov. for Himella fidelis Grote, 1874. KEY WORDS: Neoeriocera, Latiphea, Kocakina, Lobocheilos, Himella, homonymy, replacement name. The purpose of the present paper is to bring the taxonomy of noctuid moths into accordance with the requirements of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (1999). It considers homonymous genus group names of noctuid moths introduced from 1758 to 2004. In an effort to reduce the number of homonyms in Noctuidae (Lepidoptera), we systematically checked all generic names published. -

Considered primarily insectivorous predators on large arthropods but taking occasional small vertebrate prey, pallid bats were recently shown to be at least seasonally omnivorous; they demonstrate unusual dietary flexibility and opportunism in certain parts of their geographic range and at different times of year. In a few areas they take nectar from cactus flowers and eat cactus fruit pulp and seeds. Until recently mesquite bugs were primarily tropical- subtropical inhabitants of Mexico and Central America but have since occupied the southwestern United States where mesquite trees occur. Pallid bats regularly use night roosts as temporary shelters in which to process and consume large arthropods caught near their foraging areas. -

Despite their abundance and economic importance in Honduras there is little information on the species, their distribution and affected crops. Since knowledge of pest species allows for better management of crops, we aimed to document the diversity of this economically important group. Specimens from four entomological collections in Honduras were studied and an exhaustive search of all available literature was conducted. New information A total of 2,036 insects were examined. The fauna of Honduran coreids is now composed of 68 species. Nineteen species are recorded for the country for the first time and 17 species were found only in literature. E-mail: [email protected] Abstract The spermathecal morphology of nine species belonging to the Pentatomidae (Insecta: Heteroptera) were compared by optical and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Among the examined species [Rhaphigaster nebulosa (Poda 1761), Pal- omena prasina (Linnaeus 1761), Piezodorus lituratus (Fabricius 1794), Graphosoma lineatum (Linnaeus 1758), Grapho- soma semipunctatum (Fabricius 1775), Aelia albovittata (Fieber 1868), Codophila varia (Fabricius 1787), Ancyrosoma leucogrammes (Gmelin 1790), Nezara viridula (Linnaeus 1758)], all spermathecae contained a spermathecal bulb (reser- voir), a pumping region, distal and proximal flanges, proximal and distal spermathecal ducts, dilation of spermathecal duct and a genital chamber containing two ring sclerites, but each species had a different spermathecal morphology. Existen regiones del país donde la riqueza entomológica ha sido poco estudiada, como el noreste del estado de Guanajuato, reconocida como una de las áreas de mayor conservación del estado. Razón por la que se analizó la diversidad de heterópteros presentes en bosque de pino-encino y matorral submontano en Victoria, Guanajuato dentro de la RBSGG. El trabajo se efectuó de marzo a septiembre del 2019. Se colectaron 343 heterópteros, pertene- cientes a 11 familias, 30 géneros y 35 especies. La familia Coreidae y Reduviidae fueron las más diversas con ocho especies, seguido de Pentatomidae con seis especies. Los estimadores no paramétricos Chao2 y Jacknife 1 indicaron la completitud del inventario del 95 % y 84 % para ambos tipos de vegetación. En el matorral submontano la diversidad H' fue de 2.5, en comparación el bosque de pino-encino con valor H' de 1.9. -

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue hacer una contribución al conocimiento de los géneros de la tribu Coreini de Perú, así como también elaborar una clave pictórica para el reconocimiento de las subfamilias y tribus de la familia Coreidae, y para los géneros de la tribu Coreini de Perú Se examinaron aproximadamente 2300 ejemplares de coreidos colectados en diferentes regiones del país. El material examinado pertenece a la colección del Museo de Entomología “Klaus Raven Büller” de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina en Lima, Perú. Así mismo se contó con especímenes prestados por la Universidad Nacional de Tumbes, Universidad Nacional de la Selva, y se revisó material perteneciente al Museo de Historia Natural “Javier Prado” de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo, Universidad Nacional de Piura y el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria. -

Swanson1 Abstract An overview of the species of Coreoidea (Alydidae, Coreidae, and Rho- palidae) found in Michigan is presented, along with identification keys, distri- bution maps, and relevant literature. New state records for Alydus pilosulus Herrich-Schaeffer (Alydidae: Alydinae), Merocoris distinctus Dallas (Coreidae: Meropachyinae), Leptoglossus corculus (Say) (Coreidae: Coreinae), Leptoglos- sus oppositus (Say) (Coreidae: Coreinae), and Liorhyssus hyalinus (Fabricius) (Rhopalidae: Rhopalinae) are included. ____________________ Although many of the species are regarded as economically important and several conspicuous species are oft-encountered near human habitations, no treatment exists for the families of the Coreoidea in the state of Michigan.
