１．Ｅｎｔｒｙ ｐｅｒｉｏｄ ７ Ｍａｙ ２０１１ ～ ２９ Ｍａｙ ２０１１ Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
２．Ｅｌｉｇｉｂｉｌｉｔｙ ｆｏｒ Ｅｎｔｒｙ a.Entrants should be 18 years of age or older. b.The works for unpublished are acceptable. c.Work completed more than 1 year ago are not acceptable. d.The theme of the work is free of choice. ３．Ｅｎｔｒｙ ｓｅｃｔｉｏｎｓ ①Ｏｐｅｎ ②Ｐｏｐ－ｕｐ
４．Ｓｅｌｅｃｔｉｏｎ ａｎｄ Ａｗａｒｄｓ a.The visitors to OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS during the exhibition period choose the best work. The result of the visitors vote will be considered by the jury.A jury meeting is scheduled to be held in June 2011.The jury grants the following prize and awards. Grand prix and lguchi-Bunsyu prize are one point each. 3 runners-up prize(one for each entry section respectively), and several prizes for encouragement and acceptance. b.The committee consists of the following 4 members. Ken Kuroi(Picture book illustrator,Japan) Takaharu Sawada(Picture book critic,Japan) Junko Peltonen(Assistant professor of Toyama University,Japan) Susumu Takai(Chief director of OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS,Japan) c.Grand prix and lguchi-Bunsyu prize will not be given to those who were awarded prizes in previous Contests. ５．Ｃｏｎｄｉｔｉｏｎｓ ｏｆ Ｅｎｔｒｙ a.The application is assumed to be the work of one person or one group for each section. b.The size is within 42.4×30.3 ㎝ . c.The text should be 10 pages or more. d.The entry should be bookbinding style. e.The material and technique of the works are without restriction. f.The works using digital technique are acceptable,although the digital data itself is not accepted. g.Works not written in English are required to have English translation on the another form. h.Works not in compliance with the regulations will not be exhibited. ６．Ｈｏｗ ｔｏ Ａｐｐｌｙ a.Entry Form to be duly filled out, and sent to OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS with illustrations. b.Entry Form is also available at the OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS website. c.A sheet including all necessary information specified in the entry form can be used as a substitute. ※In the case of group entries,send a list of names of the group members.
７．Ａｎｎｏｕｎｃｅｍｅｎｔ ｏｆ Ｒｅｓｕｌｔｓ The results of the selection will be announced to the winners and also on the OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS website on 21 July 2011.
８．Ｅｘｈｉｂｉｔｉｏｎ ｏｆ Ｗｉｎｎｉｎｇ Ｗｏｒｋｓ Winning works will be exhibited in OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS 21 July 2011 ～ 20 August 2011. ※OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS will have the award ceremony on 20 August 2011.
９．Ｒｅｓｕｌｔｉｎｇ ｏｆ Ｅｎｔｒｉｅｓ As a rule,all works will be returned directly to individual applicants. But the works which win the Grand Prix and lguchi-Bunsyu prize are not returned.
10．Ｏｔｈｅｒｓ a.The sponsor assumes no responsibility for loss or damage of books. b.Books in transit.(An entry group must pay transit expense and other expenses needed for entry.) c.The books which win the Grand Prix and lguchi-Bunsyu prize will be owned by OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS. And rights of publication will belong to OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS. When the work that wins the Grand Prix is published, OSHIMA MUSEUM of PICTURE BOOKS dose not pay the copyright fee to the auther. d.The registration for entry is free.
