A pop-up message will prompt you to answer the question correctly in order to verify that you are human. A token will be sent to your email. Enter the token as requested. Token will expire within 5 minutes. Note: Please check your spam inbox and mark us as ‘not spam’ to receive email notifications on your orders and amendments. 3 Once token is successfully entered, you will be directed to the registration page to fill up details. Select your school and enter details – DID, Fax and Password. Password Requirements: o Exactly 8 alphanumeric characters o At least 1 lowercase o At least 1 uppercase o At least 1 number User will see the message below when they have successfully registered. 4 B. Login Users will be required to log in with their Email Address and Password. C. Password Reset Click “Forgot password” and enter your email address. A token code will be sent to your email. The token will expire within 5 minutes. Enter your new password and click “Reset”. 5 2. DASHBOARD A. Order Summary Upon logging in, you will see your dashboard. You may navigate using the tabs on the top right bar: On your dashboard, you will be able to view the following: My Pending Orders: Users can save their orders as drafts and continue pending orders by clicking on the green arrow. My Submitted Orders: Clicking on the ‘View order’ button will show a pop-up summary of your order. Users can view and print out order confirmation for their own reference. 6 Order Confirmation Summary: Submitted Orders (School): Users can view the school’s current subscriptions but are not allowed to see the details of the subscriptions. B. Sales Kit and Digital Forms Sales Kit: Download sales kit to see each publication’s information and pricing. Digital Forms: If you are subscribing to any digital publications (NewsEd / Digital IN / zbComma / Thumbs Up / Thumbs Up Junior), please download and email the digital form(s) to your SPH Rep. 7 3. PLACING AN ORDER Publications are categorized by language. Language Publications NewsEd The Straits Times – IN (20 issues) English The Straits Times - Little Red Dot (20 issues) The Straits Times - Little Red Dot (35 issues) zbComma Chinese Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Junior Malay Berita Harian Gen-G Tamil Tamil Murasu – Manavar Murasu A. Step-by-Step Ordering Process I. Class Breakbulk Minimum order quantity of 50 copies per publication is required. (If you have less than 50 subscriptions, please contact your SPH representative) You may select an existing level and class from the 'Level' and 'Class' dropdown list. If your class is not listed, you may key in your class name in the 'Class' field. Click the red button to remove classes and the green button to add classes. You will be able to see a live overview of the class breakbulk at the left side of the page. Click ‘Save Form’ before proceeding to the next step. II. Delivery Schedule You will be able to see the delivery schedules / issue dates of the publication here. For packages with fixed issues, the issue dates have already been pre-selected and you do not need to choose. Please take note of the issue dates here. For packages that do not have fixed issues (LRD – 20 issues), you will need to create delivery schedule(s) and assign them to the classes. A maximum of 10 different schedules can be created. How to create and assign schedules for packages that do not have fixed issues 1. Select your preferred dates (highlighted in yellow) and save the schedule under a name. 2. Assign the schedule to a class on the left side of the page by selecting schedule from the drop-down box. 3. To create another schedule, select ‘Create New’ from the class drop-down box. 4. Users can also delete the schedules. Ensure that the schedule is unassigned from any classes before deleting. 8 5. Click ‘Save Form’ before proceeding to the next step. III. Cart A summary of your order can be viewed here. The maximum number of complimentary copies will be shown and you may reduce the quantity if necessary. Note: For every 30 paid subscriptions, 1 complimentary copy will be given. 9 Add-On You may also include add-ons to your order (if available). You have the option to adjust the number of complimentary copies for add-ons. IV. Confirmation You may review your order here before submitting. If you need to make changes, you can still amend by going back to “Breakbulk” or “Schedule” before submitting. 10 Payment Option Select your preferred payment option – E-Invoice, Cash/Cheque or both. Order Submission An order confirmation email will be sent to you (Check your spam folder). You can also view and print out your order details from the dashboard. B. Resuming Pending Orders You may view your own pending orders, as well as the school’s pending orders. However, you can only edit your own pending orders. School’s pending orders (not created by you) can only be viewed. Note: If you have created an order by mistake, please release the pending order for other teachers in your school to subscribe. To release pending orders, users need to remove classes in their breakbulk and save form. The pending order will then be released and appear under “Place a new order”. 11 4. AMENDMENTS You can amend the number of copies in the class breakbulk after order submission. Final amendments have to be made before 31 March 2020 and should not be more than 5% of initial order. Billing to schools will start from April 2020 onwards. In the amendment page, you will be able to see your submitted orders. Click on ‘Amend’ button for the desired publication. A pop-up message will re-confirm your decision to amend. The publication will be moved from ‘Submitted Orders’ to ‘Pending Orders’. At the bottom of the page, ‘Go to Pending Orders’ will direct you to the Pending Orders page to amend your order. Please go through the whole ordering process and submit your order again. Please check your inbox / spam folder for the Amendment Details email. If you did not receive the email, please double check if your order has been submitted successfully and is not in ‘Pending Orders’. 12 5. SCHEDULE You can view your subscription(s)’ delivery schedule(s) here. From the dropdown list, select the publication you want to see.     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Media Release SPH appoints new head for its Chinese Media group Singapore, 16 January 2015 - Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) today announced the appointment of Mr Anthony Tan ( ) as Executive Vice President of Chinese Media group (CM), from 1 February 2015. Mr Tan, 41, who was Deputy Secretary (Policy) with the Ministry of Health, takes over from Mr Lim Jim Koon, 65, who will retire after 38 years with the media group. Mr Tan will oversee CM, which publishes three Chinese newspapers (Lianhe Zaobao, Lianhe Wanbao and Shin Min Daily News), four student weeklies (zbCOMMA, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Up Junior and Thumbs Up Little Junior), ZbBz Newsgazine, bilingual daily My Paper (Chinese section), UFM100.3 radio as well as Focus Publishing which produces a range of magazines including U-Weekly. In addition, he will also lead the editorial teams to strengthen and grow CM's digital products. CM also has a Cultural Industry Promotion department which promotes Chinese culture through community and arts events. Mr Tan studied in Maris Stella High School and Victoria Junior College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science degree (First Class Honours in Political Science) from the National University of Singapore in 1997, and a Master of Science degree in Management at Stanford University in USA, in 2005. He has worked in many public sector organisations throughout his career, including Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance and Manpower and the People’s Association. Mr Tan was also concurrently the Special Assistant to Mr Lee Kuan Yew from 2011 till Oct 2014.
