Hospitality’s Sandy Gallagher helped cover and decorate tables along with mother and daughter teams Carole and Allison Surella, Sarah and Faith Emmerling and Jennifer and Sophia Franklin. Big blown kisses and tipped halos to our greeters, Elaine Wurm and Carol Matthews, our awesome “fire maker” Chris Bush and children Declan, Ethan and Serena, our hotdog cookers Lilian and Mark Lebednick, Larry Alessi and good man Joe LaPat who did yeoman’s work steering that project; people who would have brought wood for the bonfire had weather cooperated – Dana Whinnery, Amy Malaney, Michael Emmerling, Venita Furtado and Bill Moylan. Bless- ings to Paul, Carole, Amber and Jonathan Ligenza who were slated to run the bonfire and s’mores pits, but the rain had other ideas. Second shift Hospitality arrived – Dolores Dolecki and Miriam Kmetzo – and helped order the tent, kept things moving and helped with cleanup, along with Jason Cavanaugh, Mike Chamberland the Ligenzas! We have to raise our hands high in praise to all the great cooks who made an ethnic dish. I hope I’ve not missed anyone because you each need to be celebrated and honored for your hard work and commitment. YOU made the night the great event it was and so many of you came in ethnic clothing or with other cultural touchstones, ready to tell your story and explain with great pride what we were eating. THANK YOU: Anand Thakur, Ofelia Arganoza, Sermad and Kristie Bakkal, Mayco and Marian Bojaj, Maria Catapang, Joanna Codilla, Fidelia Sule, Julio and Elizabeth Freyre, Venita Furtado, Sandy Garmo, Natasha George, Lina and Alan Ghassan, Callista Ikwechegh, Maria and Vince Ivezaj, Eva Jabora, Monica and Nadir Kizi, Kelly and Brent Leciejewski, Elsa Luliani, Valentino and Rushe Lumai, Carmen Maffezzoli, Lizette Maloney, Toby and Simy Manimalethu, Chris and Lynda O’Donnell, Joe Panetta, Lizabella and Leo Panganiban, Pat Sayers, Maria and Ferdinand Seely, the Susai Famly, Peter and Jennifer Spanopoulos and Peter’s mother; Qiong and Neil Wasylewski and Qiong’s brother visiting from , Regina and Simon Vulaj and Margaret and Jason Zewatsky.
