FUNNY AND SO TRUE: An Audience with Martin Kemp
Tickets go on sale this week at New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion for what promises to be a riveting evening with a multi-talented performer ... An Audience with Martin Kemp is at the Floral Pavilion for one night only on Thursday 12 May 2016.
People know Martin Kemp from the varied aspects of his long career...from iconic New Romantics SPANDAU BALLET whose major international hits include Gold, Only When You Leave and the No. 1 smash True ; his critically acclaimed portrayal of Reggie Kray in the 1990 feature film THE KRAYS in which he starred opposite his brother Gary; to his multi-award-winning performance as villain Steve Owen in EASTENDERS from 1998-2002; and more recently an appearance on CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER in 2012 .
An Audience with Martin Kemp will be an evening of sharing stories about the Spandau Ballet journey, the varied acting career both in the UK and US, and overcoming his personal challenges of a benign brain tumour. Martin said “ I am really looking forward to appearing at The Floral Pavilion in New Brighton and being interviewed about my career and I really look forward to seeing you there .”
