Mayor’s Ball To Benefit Wesley Lake Neptune - Neptune Mayor James Manning, Jr., announced that the 6th annual Neptune Township Mayor’s Ball will benefit the restoration of Wesley Lake. “We have all seen post cards and pictures of a beautiful Wesley Lake when lakeside picnics and swan boat rides were commonplace,” stated Mayor Manning. “It is time we made an investment in this long neglected natural resource and return it to its original splendor.” Manning added that the initial response of individuals and businesses has been very encouraging. “I think every one living in the Neptune area is concerned about the future of Wesley Lake. It is a cause that people really want to rally around.” The annual Ball is attended by about 400 people in support of a different benefactor each year. This year, the Ball will be held on Friday, September 25th at Squires Pub, West Long Joseph Hill, left, & Charles Harris, Jr. Branch. Tickets are $60 per person.
