STARDUST Volume 5, No. 9 September, 2004 Newsletter for the 1st, 2nd and 12th Districts SEPTEMBER REGATTA SCHEDULE STARS TO RETURN TO LARCHMONT! 1st District Larchmont Columbus Day Regatta Sept. 11-12 Bedford Pitcher (CLIS) October 9-10, 2004 Sept. 18-19 Nutmeg Regatta (Mid) Through the efforts of Star Class member Thierry de La 2nd District Villehuchet and Larchmont Race Committee Sept. 11-12 Blue Star Chairperson Cynthia Parthemos the Stars will participate Sept. 25-26 Oxford Fall Wind-Up (TAYC) in the Larchmont Columbus Day Regatta, October 9-10, 2004. Traditionally this regatta includes boats from various th 5 District classes including the Etchells 22's, International One Sept 4-5 Labor Day Pitcher (SDB) Designs, Shields, Sonars, S Boats and on a separate course, Sept 11-12 Harris Series (CYC) the 12 Metres. The race committee intends to run multiple Sept 18-19 Green Star (NH) races each day as the weather permits. Saturday evening 12th District there will be a dinner held in Larchmont's famous dining Sept. 11 – 12 Lake George Open (LG) room. This regatta will be included in the scoring for the Sept. 18 – 19 Flasir – (Ithaca Yacht Club) Nash Trophy. So mark this event on your calendar now!
