The majority of this content is contained on video tape, but many AHC collections also contain motion picture film and born digital content. Some collections have been partially or completely digitized, but the vast majority of AV materials in AHC’s collections have no digital surrogate. In these cases, arrangements must be made in advance for access to these materials. To the extent possible, access copy availability has been noted below. A detailed list of digitized items can be found in the Digitized Video database, the Oral History and Audio Recordings database, a collection’s finding aid and A/V inventory spreadsheet. ARCHIVES AND MANUSCRIPTS COLLECTION Audiovisual materials abound in AHC Archives and Manuscripts collections. While only a few of these collections are comprised exclusively of AV, there are many collections with AV materials in them. Digitization of AV items in Archives and Manuscripts collections is an ongoing process.
