9 p.m. * Lenny Bruce Performance Film.· A true life portrait of this brilliant visionary, self-destructive, put-upon comedy genius. This is an un­ edited filmed record of a San Francisco nightclub performance in 1965. Bruce uses his bizarre, irreverent and sometimes grotesque humor to discuss savagely and inventively-his trial in New York State for having performed obscene material. Sunday, June 3 at t;he Shaftsbury School: Sage City Symphony presents its final concert of the season. Louis Ca~abro conducts Boccherini Cello Concerto with soloist Bill Peck~ two arias from Verdi;s La Traviata with soprano Jill Beckwith and tenor Edward Hines, Beethoven's Second Symphony and the premiere of Plankton by Bennington graduate Andrea Eerleant with soloists Maxine Neuman and a_lumnus Stan Scott. Cynthia Murphy will con::l.uct ·the premiere of her commissioned work, Concert Piece. The performance is open to all at no charg ·e. (turn east at the Shaftsbury blinking light) Sage City S::-,t,:phony is the subject of an article in the nationally distributed Symp:--wnyMar; ~ zi.r:.e this month. Concert begins at 8 a.m.

On Thursday, May 31 at 6 p.m., an evening sponsored by the Peace Resource Center.
