Without the support of our Community Leaders, these courts would not have been a reality for the Club. For that, the KNTC Executive and Members are ex- tremely grateful to everyone involved. “These new state-of-the-art tennis courts are a welcome addition to Bindertwine Park and the Kleinburg Nashville Tennis Club,” said Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua. “The City’s investment in the resurfacing and renovation of these tennis courts is an investment in our growing community. We take pride in being able to offer numerous opportunities for our residents to become active, knowing that recreation plays an important role in all our lives.” "Our Association was keen to lend our support to KNTC in seeking the tennis court reconstruction a few years ago, and we are thrilled today to see the fantastic new courts ready to be used by the club and our community. We congratulate the tennis club for their lead- ership on this project, and thank the City for their investment in Kleinburg and Area," said Ken Schwenger, KARA President. "Clubs like Kleinburg Nashville are the lifeblood of OTA's member club network across Ontario, and deserve every chance to remain vital and relevant to their community. We at the OTA are thrilled that the City’s contribution will ensure continued growth of tennis in their community for many years to come!" said Scott Fraser, President of Ontario Tennis Association. To further brand a more local look and feel for the Club, the KNTC Executives have made a strategic decision to re-name the club in 2014 to KTC to reflect and promote the local community spirit. With the push on offering more creative tennis programming, branch- ing out to intercounty play throughout the region, the Club Executives believe that the name change will embrace and promote the local community experience.
