USA Canoe Slalom and Extreme Slalom Olympic and National Team Trials 2021 Official Results and Nominations April 14, 2021
USA Olympic Team Nomination – Canoe Slalom (CSL)
Women Canoe Single (WC1) Evy Leibfarth
Evy Leibfarth placed fourth in the WC1 event at the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championship in Seu, Spain, where she earned an Olympic quota for the USA and four points towards a nomination to the USA Olympic Team. She placed first in the WC1 event at the USA Canoe Slalom Olympic and National Team Trials in Charlotte, NC, this week, and earned an additional three points towards a nomination to the USA Olympic Team. With a total of seven points and a tie-break advantage, no other athlete can overtake her point advantage. Therefore, the ACA is proud to nominate Evy Leibfarth to the USA Olympic Team.
2021 USA Canoe Slalom (CSL) and Extreme Slalom (CSLX) National Team The following athletes met the ACA performance requirements and will represent the USA at the 2021 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cups and World Championship. Athletes in men’s events will compete for the right to be nominated to the USA Olympic Team at the ICF CSL World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic, June 11-13, 2021.
