They have been an opportunity for individuals from different disciplines and sectors of the sport to share their views and, hopefully, this feedback will be a positive contribution in shaping the overall strategic plan. CEOs of all home nations are actively engaged in developing the strategy alongside the British Canoeing board and this should lead to a coordinated approach across the UK. The aim is to agree a Heads of Agreement to articulate the approach. Considerable effort has been undertaken to clarify the roles and responsibility of the Board and the relationship with the CEO.
