There is a new post due to expansion of services and to cater to the demand and also another existing post available. The department will comprise 6 consultants (including this post), 4 specialist nurses and a specialist registrar. A post will be based at Lincoln County Hospital with clinical commitments at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston the other will be also based at Lincoln County Hospital with clinical commitments at Grantham & District Hospital. Whilst developing a special interest is not a requirement of the post, this will be encouraged should the successful applicant request this. Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons to work full time will be eligible to be considered for the post. Dear Resident, I moved to Lincolnshire in 1968, living in Lincoln and the West Lindsey villages of Welton, Scothern and Saxilby before moving to Scotter twenty years ago. I worked in Lincoln for seventeen years at the Electronics company AEI, later known as Marconi. This is where I met my husband, Roy. I moved into Accountancy and later, Sales. In 1994 we purchased Ivy Lodge on Messingham Road, entering the hospitality industry. In 2008 I graduated with a Foundation Business Degree from Lincoln University, as a mature student, having studied at North Lindsey College. I thoroughly enjoy living in Scotter, having developed our business here providing Bed & Breakfast to some wonderful people, many of whom have since settled locally. My time within the hospitality industry led me to being made a Non-executive Director of Lincolnshire Tourism around 2010. Tourism is an important component of the local economy of West Lindsey. I am pleased that during my time in this post I helped secure a dedicated council employee with responsibility for promoting tourism. By listening, working hard and bringing a fresh approach to the role of District Councillor I know I can make a real difference. I have ambitions for our whole area that I am confident local people share. I am the only candidate who lives in the ward and as your District Councillor I will:- ■ Keep Council Tax Frozen this year & next and work hard to make sure that the council is lean and efficient, ensuring that services are provided in a business- like manner and represent value for money for local tax payers ■ Draw attention to the problem of fast traffic through the villages and the issues around parking ■ Find solutions to anti-social behaviour that brings unwarranted litter, broken glass and noise.

I was employed for 17 years at the Electronics company AEI later known as Marconi, later moving into accountancy and Sales before purchasing Ivy Lodge.
