What is your current job? I am a Children Services Librarian. How would you describe the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library? Busy. I do not know of any library with as many well attended programs as we have. What book would you recommend? My favorite book—having been a teacher—is Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary. What is your favorite vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot is Great Britain. I have been there several times. There is so much to see and do. What are your hobbies? Fixing up my house and cars. I am currently in the Buick Club. I have also had two Corvettes and raced my first one with Tiretown Corvette Club. I collect model cars. What would people be surprised to know about you? I was married in Scotland in Gretna Green. Do you have any pets? I have a great cat. His name is Buddy or sometimes Ollie. Pat Catan’s and the Friends of the Library are co-sponsoring the bi-annual Miniature Tree and Wreath Auction. All proceeds benefit programming at your favorite library! Anyone wishing to participate by decorating a tree or wreath may pick one up at the library on October 10 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. or from 6 - 8 P.M. If this date or time is nor good for you, please contact Nicole Welsh at (330) 922-0243 or (330) 688-4231 to make alternate arrangements. All items must be returned in their decorated glory no later than November 1st at noon. Return times are October 31st between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M., or otherwise by appointment. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY The Friends of the Library is a citizen support group for Library services and activities. They sponsor book sales as well as the annual Needlework Show and other programming.
