Visitor Information Center Parking: Located at the Visitor Information Center at 14th & Capitol Way. There is a BSt. $1.50/hour-$12/day charge. The Visitor Information Center is managed by the Olympia - Lacey - Tumwater Visitor & Harrison A St. Convention Bureau. The phone numbers are: (Toll-free) 1-877-704-7500; or (360) 704-7544. Thurston 2. North and South Diagonal Parking: Located along the North and South Diagonal streets on the Capitol Campus. Olympia There is a$1.50/hour-$12/day charge . 3. General Administration Parking Garage:(upper level) on the corner of 11th Ave . & Columbia St. There is a State $1.50/hour-$12/day charge. No SUVs, vans or trucks. These vehicles can park on the west side of the General 5th Ave. 4th Ave. Administration Building. 5th Ave. 4. General Administration Building:located at 11th Ave . & Columbia St. There are 35 visitor parking stalls on the west side (facing Capitol Lake) of the building. There is a $1.50/hour-$12/day charge. Legion Way 5. Natural Resources P1 Parking Lot: off Washington Street is metered parking. 7th Ave. Adams Franklin Capitol Jefferson Washington 6. Professional Arts Building: 11th Ave. and Washington St. The 48-stall lot includes a meter that accepts payment Capitol Way Plum Street Lake Water Street 8th Ave. with either a debit or credit card at$1.50/hour-$12/day charge . Free Dash shuttle service is also offered at this lot. IT Routes 43, 44 Columbia Street 9th Ave. 7. Capitol Campus Visitor Parking at Maple Park and Jefferson Street: Parking costs$1.50/hour-$12/day charge . Free DASH shuttle will serve this lot every 12 minutes on weekdays. Buses operate between the Visitor Parking Lot at WA State 10th Ave. Maple Park, through the Capitol Campus and to the Farmers Market. Capitol Union Avenue 8. Capitol Campus Visitor Parking at Farmers Market: at the north end of Capitol Way (available Jan through March Campus 11th Ave. only). Parking is available for a $1.50/hour-$12/day charge. Free Dash shuttle serves this lot every 12 minutes on 12th Ave. weekdays, taking passengers between the Capitol Campus and downtown Olympia. 13th Ave. 9. Employment Security Annex lot: there are 14 visitor stalls. SSnyder 14th Avenue 14th Ave. 10. Deschutes Parkway: along Capitol Lake. Intercity Transit serves Deschutes Parkway weekdays every 15 minutes. (tunnel) Other bus routes operate throughout the region and serve the Olympia Transit Center where passengers can transfer 15th Wheeler Ave. to Routes 12, 13, and 68 for service to the Capitol Campus. For route and schedule information, call (360) 786-1881 Maple Park Water or visitwww.intercitytransit.com. The fare is $1 for a single ride and $2 for an all-day pass. State employees working in Columbia 17th Thurston County ride all Intercity Transit services free with a STAR Pass. Intercity Transit also operates a free Dash Shuttle along Capital Way between the Capitol campus and downtown Olympia. Service is every 12 minutes. IT Route 44 Evergreen Park Dr. To Deschutes Parkway from I-5 Southbound: Take "Exit 105 to State Capitol", keep left for Exit 105A, and continue .8 Lakeridge Dr. miles to the roundabout at Jefferson Ave. Continue straight through the roundabout and under the tunnel to Capitol IT Route 43, 44 Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Legislative Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Ave becomes Sid Snyder y 105 Ave). a w To Deschutes Parkway from I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 105 and bear left for the State Capitol/City Center exit. Cross k r a Capitol Way IT Routes 12 & 13 over Interstate 5 and continue .3mi to the roundabout at Jefferson Ave. Continue straight through the roundabout and Heritage Ct. P Chandler Ct. under the tunnel to Capitol Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Legislative Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Bristol Ct. Interstate 5 s Thurst. Co. Free DASH Shuttle and stops School Buses (Scheduled) – Parking is available near the Legislative Building for school bus groups who have a IT Routes 43, 44 scheduled tour through DES’ Visitor Services Program.* Parking is located on the South Diagonal, just off Capitol Way. IT Routes 12; 13; 68 Passengers will be guided to the site where they will meet a tour guide. IT Transit Centers School Buses (Unscheduled) – There is no reserved parking available for buses bringing unscheduled school tour groups to the Capitol. Please unload at the Winged Victory Monument traffic circle at the west end of the South Diagonal, Leg. Staff Shuttle then park along Deschutes Parkway. Return to the Winged Victory Monument shortly before departure time. Leg. Staff Shuttle Stops Tour and Special Event Buses – Tour/special events buses may not park on the Capitol Campus without prior approval Winged Victory Monument from DES.* Load and unload on Columbia St., between 15th Ave. and Sid Snyder Ave. If full, the Winged Victory Monument traffic circle and South Diagonal can be used as a load/unload area. Once unloaded, park along Deschutes *DES Visitor Services Program Custer Way Parkway. At pickup time, please shut off the engine while waiting. Do not block 14th Ave. westbound waiting to enter the Legislative Bldg Room 111 IT Route 12 IT Route 68 Capitol Campus. If traffic is backed-up entering the campus, go right on Capitol Way; then right on 11th Ave.; right on (360) 902-8880 Jefferson St.; and then right again back on to 14th Ave. Capitol Campus Parking: Boston N Special Needs – Buses that need special accommodations can drop off and load at the southeast corner of the www.ga.wa.gov/Park/visitor.htm Legislative Building. No waiting is allowed at this location and drivers must park in either handicapped parking or on 2nd Avenue Revised 1/12 Deschutes Parkway.
