The New October Routine (10/24/20) It’s mid-October and the lake water has cooled, birds are migrating south, the leaves are falling. It’s that predictable, familiar routine – except for the humans. Their October activites have been greatly altered. School football games are being eliminated, students are attending class from home, the World Series is being played in front of very few spectators, and Halloween will be celebrated without parties or trick-or-treaters. But in spite of it all, the music keeps playing, as we cling to what’s left of our fall routine.
