The program will be open free to the public. A feature of the program will be "A Song Cycle on the Birth of The ARGUS? Jesus," written by John Lambert in 1950 for soprano and harp. The texts are drawn from the writings of medieval poets who dealt with a variety of attitudes and aspects concerning the birth of the Savior. She will be assisted by harpist Denise Grupp. Miss Knoche also will sing two arias from Handel's "Neun Deutsch Arien"-"Meine Seele hort im Sehen" and "Flammende Rose," three Liszt compositions-"S'ilest un charmant gazon," "O quand je dors," and "O lieb." Also assisting with the program will be flutist Liz Tucker, recordist Randolph Stewart and cellist Michael Burkland. Miss Knoche is a graduate of Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., where she studied with Virginia Ward Elliott, a Wesleyan alumna.
