2018. July 20-23 1. Rules 1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by the Racing Rules of 2017- 2020. 1.2. The prescriptions of the HYA for 2018 will apply. 1.3. Appendix P will apply. 1.4. If there is a conflict between languages, the english text will take precedence. 1.5. The sailing instructions will consist of the instructions in RRS Appendix S, Standard Sailing Instructions, and supplementary sailing instructions that will be on the official notice board. 2. Advertising Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. If this rule is broken, Regulation 20.9.2 applies. [DP] 3. Eligibility and Entry 3.1. The regatta is open to all boats of the: 470, 420, Finn, Laser Standard, , Laser 4.7 classes. 3.2. Eligible boats may enter by completing the form on VIHAR (https://vihar.hunsail.hu/) and sending it together with the required fee. Foreign competitors may enter in the race office during the registration period. 3.3. Late entries may be approved upon the approval of the Organising authority. 4. Fees Entry fee is 8000 HUF/person, for 470 10.000 HUF/person. Sailors born on or after 2000. January 1st pay the half of the entry fee. 5. Schedule Date Time July 19 18.00-20.00 Registration July 20 8.00-8:45 Registration 10.00 Warning signal for the first race of 470 18-20.00 Registration for other classes July 21-23 10.00 The scheduled time of the first warning signal of the day 5.1. 12 races are scheduled for 470 class and 9 races are scheduled for all other classes. 5.2. There can be 4 races per day 5.3. On the last scheduled day of racing no warning signal will be made after 16:00. 6. Measurement Each boat shall produce a valid measurement certificate and insurance. 7. Venue 7.1. Venue is located at 8237, Tihany, Kenderföld utca 19. 7.2. Location of the courses will be at the eastern or the western side of Tihany peninsula. The Race committee will signal which area will be used upon leaving the shore. 8. Scoring 8.1. 4 races are required to constitute a series for the 470. All other classes need one race. 8.2. When fewer than 4 (for 470, 5) races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of the races scores. 8.3. When from 4 to 8 (for 470 5 to 9) races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her races scores excluding her worst score 8.4. When 9 (for 470 10 or more) races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her races scores excluding her 2 worst scores. 9. Support boats 9.1. Race committee boats will be marked with a white RC flag. 9.2. Jury boats will be marked with white Jury or ’J’ flag. 9.3. Support boats should be registered upon registration. 10. Berthing Boats shall be kept in their assigned places while they are in the harbour. 11. Radio Communication Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not make voice or data transmissions and shall not receive voice or data communication that is not available to all boats. [DP] 12. Media rights By entering to the event, all competitors give the right to the organising authority to produce and use any kind of audio or video record of them. That includes records of a drone. Any actions of the drone can be no ground of redress. 13. Prizes Top three boats of the classes and age groups with at least 6 participants will be awarded with medals. 14. Disclaimer of Liability Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjuction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. 15. Insurance Each participating boat shall be insured with a third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of 1.000.000 € per incident or the equivalent. 16.
