Phuket King’s Cup Regatta International Dinghy Classes Race 1st - 8th December 2018 NOTICE OF RACE The notation ‘[DP]’ in a rule in the NoR means that the penalty for a breach of that rule may, at the discretion of the protest committee, be less than disqualification. 1. ORGANIZING AUTHORITY The Phuket King’s Cup Regatta Dinghy Race will be organized by the organizing committee of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta under the auspices of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in conjunction with the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand, the Royal Thai Navy and the Province of Phuket. 2. RULES 2.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing. 2.2 No national authority prescriptions will apply. 2.3 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. 3. ADVERTISING Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. 4. 2019 Laser District 8 Grand Prix Sayville Yacht Club Blue Point, L.I., New York August 17-18, 2019 NOTICE OF RACE 1 RULES 1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the International Laser Class Association (ILCA) rules. 1.2 The Organizing Authority is the Sayville Yacht Club. 1.3 The event will be held on the waters of the Great South Bay south of the Sayville Yacht Club. 2 LANGUAGE The official language for this regatta will be English. 3 INSPECTION AND MEASUREMENT Class approved equipment is required. Sails, rigging, boats and equipment may be measured prior to racing, and may also be spot-checked at any time during the regatta. National letters are not required, but if used, must also comply with the class rules. Note that numbers and letters drawn on the sail with permanent ink pens are not legal. Refer to http://www.laserinternational.org/rules/classrules/parttwo/sailregistrationnumbers for detailed instructions. 4 FLEET ELIGIBILITY Laser Standard, Radial and Laser 4.7 competitors who are members of the ILCA-NA or their national Laser Class Association may enter by completing registration with the Sayville Yacht Club. NORTHAMPTON SAILING CLUB Notice of - Steve Nicholson Memorial Race At Pitsford Reservoir on - Saturday 25th January 2014 For - The Steve Nicholson Memorial Trophy (This event is part of the SailJuice Winter Series 2013/2014) Open only to classes listed in Appendix SNT below and as updated at (http://www.northamptonsailingclub.org/index.asp?selection=Calendar&cy=2014) Competitors wishing to enter a class of boat not listed in Appendix SNT should please apply to [email protected] giving details of their proposed entry. If the race committee accept the class it will be added to Appendix SNT and the prospective entrant will be notified by email. Please note any entry will still need to be made in the usual way and will be subject to the entry limit. Advertising will be allowed in accordance with the Class Rules of the competing classes. The races will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing. Competitors should note that Northampton Sailing Club implements the RYA Racing Charter and that they will be required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, which can be found at the front of the RYA rule book. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the owner/competitor racing the boat, who must ensure that the boat and crew are adequate to face the conditions that may arise in the course of the race. Neither the sailing instructions, nor the inspection of the boat limits or reduces the absolute responsibility of the owner/competitor for his/her crew his/her boat and the management thereof.
