SCHUTZKONZEPT FÜR DIE MUTTSEEHÜTTE SAC UNTER COVID-19

Liebe Hüttenbesucherin, lieber Hüttenbesucher

Oberstes Ziel dieses vorliegenden Konzepts ist es, den Schutz der Gäste und des Hüttenteams zu gewährleisten. In diesem Sommer ist deshalb bei uns allen ein erhöhtes Mass an Disziplin und Eigenverantwortung gefragt. Folgende Regeln sind bei jedem Hüttenbesuch von dir, lieber Gast, zwingend einzuhalten:

1. Besuche die Muttseehütte nur in gesundem Zustand! Wenn du dich nicht gesund fühlst: Bleib daheim! Gesundheitlich gefährdeten Personen raten wir in diesem Sommer ebenfalls von einem Besuch ab.

2. Bringe dein eigenes Handdesinfektionsmittel, dein eigenes Handtuch und ggf. deine eigene Schutzmaske mit.

3. Halte die Abstandsregeln und Hygienemassnahmen ein: 2 Meter Distanz zu anderen Personen, Gruppen nicht vermischen, Hände vor dem Eintreten in die Hütte mit Seife waschen oder desinfizieren. Bodenmarkierungen und Hinweisschilder beachten. Anweisungen des Hüttenteams befolgen.

4. Alle Gäste müssen sitzend konsumieren. Wir bedienen dich am Tisch. Sind alle Tische besetzt und hast du keine Zeit um auf einen freien Tisch zu warten, bestelle etwas Feines zum Mitnehmen.

5. Bei Gästegruppen bis 4 Personen gibst du freiwillig deine Kontaktdaten an. Bei Gästegruppen von mehr als 4 Personen ist es Pflicht, dass mindestens eine Person die Kontaktdaten hinterlässt.

6. Vermeide unnötiges Umherlaufen. Hütte und Zimmer anschauen, in die Küche „gwünderen“, Kuchen in der Vitrine studieren, Toiletten suchen etc. ist in diesem Sommer leider nicht erlaubt. Orientiere dich an den Hinweisschildern oder frag die Hütten-Crew, wir geben dir gerne Auskunft 

ÜBERNACHTUNGSGÄSTE

• Es gilt eine zwingende Reservierungspflicht für Schlafplätze!

• Es gibt keinen Schlafplatz ohne eigenen Hüttenschlafsack! Wir vermieten keine Hüttenschlafsäcke! Eine begrenzte Anzahl qualitativ hochwertiger COOLMAX Adaptor Sleeping Bag Liner können in der Hütte zu CHF 59.00/Stk. gekauft werden (Preis analog Sportfachhandel). „Es het solang’s het.“

• Bitte bringe dein eigenes Handtuch mit und benütze nur dieses!

• Die Kissenbezüge werden von uns nach jedem Gast gewechselt und gewaschen. Die Bezüge der Duvets hingegen können wir leider nicht jedesmal waschen.

• Achte auf ein geordnetes Check-in: Bei der Ankunft betritt vorerst nur eine Person, im Idealfall der/die Gruppenverantwortliche die Hütte.

• Der/Die Gruppenverantwortliche trägt sämtliche Namen und Adressen seiner Gruppe ins Hüttenbuch ein. Er/Sie bezahlt den Gesamtbetrag von Übernachtung und Halbpension für sämtliche Mitglieder seiner Gruppe. Anschliessend zeigen wir euch im Verbund das/die Zimmer.

• Der Zwei-Meter-Abstand kann in der Hütte nicht immer und überall eingehalten werden. Je nach Belegung der Hütte wirst du beim Essen mit anderen Gästen am selben Tisch sitzen (ggf. mit Trennvorrichtung) und beim Schlafen dein Zimmer mit anderen teilen. Sei dir dessen bewusst und nimm Rücksicht!

• Auch in den Sanitärräumen und im Schuhraum gilt: Abstand halten oder im Verbund und in zeitlicher Absprache mit den anderen Gruppen nutzen.

• Lasse nichts herumliegen, insbesondere keine benutzten Taschentücher, Schutzmasken etc. und nimm deinen eigenen Abfall mit ins Tal.

• Hast du Angst, dich mit COVID-19 zu infizieren, dann verzichte in diesem Sommer auf eine Hüttenübernachtung. Eine SAC-Hütte ist unter normalen Umständen schon ein ganz besonderes Experiment des Zusammenlebens. In Corona-Zeiten erst recht.

Location At the Kistenpass in the area of the Glarus Alps, Switzerland, south of Linthal on a high plateau above the Muttsee lake. Base of the long-distance trail Via Glaralpina  www.via-glaralpina.ch

Approaches From Linthal-Tierfehd: Version 1: Cable car to Kalktrittli - marked footpath over Nüschen, Muttenwändli. 2.5 hours / T3 (only for those who are without fear of heights - sufficiently secured with chains) Version 2: Cable car to Kalktrittli - marked footpath through the tunnel of the power plant (approx. 3 km) to lake Limmeren, Mörtel. 2.5 hours / T2 (a short passage secured with chains / T3) From Breil/Brigels: Marked footpath over Rubi Sura and the Kistenpass. 6-7 hours / T3

Transitions Kistenpass between Linthal, Glarus and Breil/Brigels, Grisons

Infrastructure 76 beds with nordic duvets (cotton or silk sleeping bags are obligatory), toilets and washing facilities inside the hut (separate for male and female), coin-operated shower, electric light in the whole house.

Hut warden present The hut warden is present from mid-June to mid-October. During the other times of the year the winter room is open (8 beds, no water, no food, toilet outside the hut).

Cancellations or postponements Mandatory ! Please note the following GT&Cs of SAC Huts:

General Terms and Conditions (GT&Cs) of SAC Huts

1. Area of application The General Terms and Conditions apply to all reservation enquiries and reservations in SAC Club huts (henceforth called SAC huts) on the basis of the SAC Hut Regulations of 2006 (item 5.3.1).

2. Guest contract and reservations 1. The guest contract is finalised directly and exclusively between the person making the reservation (the guest) and the warden responsible, in unattended huts or those attended by section members between the guest and the hut-owning section. 2. Sleeping places are to be booked in advanced as a general rule; this not only guarantees a sleeping place but also helps the hut management plan ahead. 3. Reservations for individuals and groups of up to 12 persons can be made by telephone or in writing; those for groups of 13 or more persons should preferably be made in writing to the chosen SAC hut. A reservation is regarded binding for both parties when it has been confirmed either verbally or in writing. The General Terms and Conditions come into force upon confirmation of each reservation.

3. Deposit 1. Each SAC hut is entitled to demand a deposit of up to the amount of the maximum charge of the booked services. The deposit must be paid by the agreed date. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled. Deposits shall only be reimbursed if the cancellation is made within the time limit stipulated in the Terms of Cancellation. 2. No deposit is demanded for officially advertised section tours. The sections guarantee for any arising compensation in accordance with the Terms of Cancellation.

4. Terms of Cancellation 1. Cancellations and reservation changes such as postponements by individuals and groups of up to 12 persons must be submitted by telephone to and confirmed by the hut warden by 18.00 hours on the day before the night booked. 2. Cancellations and reservation changes such as postponements by groups of 13 and more persons must be submitted by telephone to and confirmed by the hut warden by 18.00 hours on the date two days before the night booked. 3. Payment is due in the case of late cancellations, late reservation changes and no-shows. The SAC hut is entitled to invoice an amount of up to the equivalent value of the booked services. 4. In the case of an unforeseen incident or emergency (e.g. accident, act of God etc.) preventing the use of the booked services, the hut warden must be informed as soon as possible. Compensation according to item 4.3 is not applicable.

5. Obligation of identification 1. Members' rates shall only be granted on presentation of a valid identity card. 2. Special rates require a relevant and valid form of legitimation. 3. Free overnight stays for mountain guides and trainee mountain guides shall only be granted on presentation of a valid IVBV identity card as well as the membership card of the SAC or a reciprocating organisation.

6. Prices and payment 1. All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax (VAT). Prices remain subject to change. 2. Charges for board and lodging are to be paid at the SAC hut in cash by the date of departure at the latest. Payment by credit card and electronic payment can only be made where available and with advance confirmation. 3. In unattended SAC huts, payment can be deposited in cash in the designated cash box or be made by payment slip.

Disclaimer All written and verbal information (e.g. on route conditions, avalanche and weather conditions, route information etc.) is provided by the hut with the best possible care and to the best of its knowledge. However, the managers of the hut do not assume any liability for it. All decisions regarding tours, routes etc. are the guest's sole responsibility. Any liability of the hut management for damages of any kind incurred by the guest as a result of information or advice received is excluded.

The General Terms and Conditions (GT&Cs) of SAC Huts were approved by the General Assembly on 9 June 2012 and come into binding force on 1 July 2012.

RULES OF THE HUT

Dear guests, welcome to our hut. Respect for the following rules will make your stay and that of others more enjoyable. Your effort also helps us to maintain this mountain hut.

If there is a hut warden, please present yourselves to him upon ar- rival. The hut warden will assign your sleeping accomodations.

Fee reductions are only granted upon presentation of your membership card. In the absence of the hut warden, please leave the appropriate amount in the money box or pay by postal order. There is no obligation to eat at the SAC huts but the hut warden will be happy to serve you meals and drinks.

In this hut, "lights out" is at 22:00. Dogs and other animals are not allowed in the sleeping areas.

After use, please fold the blankets, clean the rooms and the cooking area and wash the dishes.

In the absence of the hut warden, before you leave please extin- guish the fire, switch off the lights and close windows, shutters and doors. Medicines and rescue materials are available for emergencies. Please note in the registration book what you have used and pay for it. Please contribute to the protection of the alpine environment by taking your garbage down to the valley and putting it into the appropriate containers. A surcharge is required for private phone calls. If there is no hut warden, please follow the instructions in cases of emergency.

The hut warden is to ensure compliance with these rules but it is not his task to do what others have neglected to do.

Die Mitglieder der folgenden Vereinigungen sowie alle sonstigen Personen, die einen mit der Gegenrechtsmarke versehenen, gültigen Mitgliederausweis (Ausnahmen STD und AC: keine Gegenrechtsmarke nötig) vorweisen, bezahlen in den SAC- Hütten die gleichen Übernachtungstarife wie SAC-Mitglieder.

Les membres des associations suivantes ainsi que toute personne présentant une carte de membre valable munie du timbre de réciprocité (exception: STD et AC pas de timbre nécessaire) jouissent, dans les cabanes du CAS, des mêmes taxes de nuitées que les membres du CAS.

I membri delle associazioni seguenti, nonché tutti coloro che esibiranno una tessera di socio munita del timbro di reciprocità (eccezioni: timbro non necessario per STD e AC), pagheranno nei rifugi del CAS le medesime tasse dei membri del CAS.
