This year promises to be a very exciting year for UTAH AAU.Iwould like to invite you and your school to participate in the AAU UTAH IN PERSON TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP! Here are few reasonsto participate: • Let’s getready for 2021 Na�onals and AAUJ unior Olympic Games! Athletes from any part of the U.S may participate for AAU National TaekwondoChampionships and the Junior Olympics atthisevent. The qualityof competi�onand officia�ng will be high! • World Taekwondo Poomsae • Open Poomsae • Olympic SPARRING • Obstacle Course 12yrs oldandunder • CUSTOMMEDALS! The topfour in each division will receive a custom medal designed specifically for this event. The compe�tion venueisUnited Futsal Center 1966 N. 400 E. North Ogden, Utah 84414. Compe�tion Date is May1st 2021. You must pre-register for this event viaonline! There willbeno registrationat thedoor. Registra�on must be received by April 25th 2021. Registerat inthetms.com You must also be a registered AAU member to compete, coach, or officiate. Coaches and officials must also have a�ended acoaches’/referee seminar.This event will be a good warmuptoall participants for AAU National Championships and the pres�gious AAU Junior OlympicGames.Theonly true multi-sport weeklong event featuring the na�on’s most talented athletes vying for medalsin twenty sports, including Taekwondo. RULES AAU TAEKWONDO RULES COMPETITION INFO Olympic Sparring –(KP&P electronic scoring for Blackbelts 10yrs old and up) World Taekwondo Poomsae Open Poomsae Obstacle Course 12yrs old and under SCHEDULE OF EVENTS SATURDAY(At the venue United Futsal Center) 8:00 AM- Officials mee�ng 8:30 AM- WEIGH IN for Blackbelts Only 8:45AM- Opening Ceremony 9:00 AM- Staging for Forms and Obstacle Course 11:00AM- Staging for Olympic Sparring Everyattempt will be made to be ahead of schedule. Please be prepared to report for staging ON TIME! Athlete Entry Fee(s) EarlyRegistration: $85 for 1st event, $20 for each addi�onal event. Early Registration end April 10th 2021. Late Registration: $95for 1st event, $25 for each addi�onal event. Late Registra�on end April 30th 2021. Absolutelyno registra�ons will be accepted a�er April 30th. CoachesEntry Fee $35 Awards Custom Medals for 1st thru 4th place Admission Fee $15 5&Under FREE Eligibility AAU membership is mandatory,ifyouarenot on the AAU membership rosterorifyou donot have your membership card, you will be required to join AAU again. Coach’s/Instructors In order to coach at the AAU State Taekwondo Information Championships, you must take the online Coach’s course. Coach’s a�rewillbe enforced at this tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS.
