2 – 4 p.m. Studio Class Observations The artistic experience at PrattMWP is one of a kind. We will open the doors of our studios and classrooms to families and Alumni so that they can see the power of the PrattMWP experience first- hand.

1 – 4 p.m. PrattMWP Faculty Show, PrattMWP Gallery in the Museum of Art View current works by our talented and distinguished faculty on display in the School of Art Gallery. Light refreshments served.

4 – 5 p.m. Student Gallery Opening, 14 Cottage Come celebrate and enjoy the work of our sophomore students.

5 – 7 p.m. Dinner, Student Center Families and Alumni are welcome to enjoy the wonderful offerings of our dining hall throughout the course of Past, Present, and Future Weekend. *

7 p.m. South Studio Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, 1222 State Street Join us for the grand opening of the South Studio building. Light refreshments served.

7:30 p.m. MWPAI Film Series, Sinnott Family - Bank of Utica Auditorium, in the Museum of Art Film title announced on September 1, 2017

10 – 11:30 a.m. Still life Drawing led by a PrattMWP Professor, Location TBD Open to everyone of all abilities, learn how to draw still life. Basic supplies will be provided.

10 – 11:30 a.m. Guided tour of the Roaring into the Future: New York 1925-35 Exhibition Munson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute Museum of Art Get a docent guided tour of the Roaring into the Future: New York 1925-35 Exhibition.

11 – 1:30 p.m. – Campus Store Open

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Brunch, Student Center Families and Alumni are welcome to enjoy the wonderful offerings of our dining hall throughout the course of the weekend.*

12 – 4 p.m. Admissions Open House, Studio Building Perspective students are invited to attend an Open House event. The Open House includes a campus tour, optional portfolio reviews/meeting, a presentation on our program, departmental discussions with faculty and the opportunity to meet with administrative offices including Admissions, Student Life, Financial Aid and Academics.

3 p.m. Steve HickNer “A Career in Animation”, Sinnott Family - Bank of Utica Auditorium, in the Museum of Art Join celebrated animator and director, Steve Hickner, as he reminisces about his career path in animation and shares valuable advice to anyone interested in pursuing a career in animation.

Hickner has directed animated movies such as '' and '.' He won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Animated Feature and was nominated for the Satellite Award for Best Animated or Mixed Media Feature for 'The Prince of Egypt.' Most recently, he has been a storyboard artist for several DreamWorks Animation movies including 'Home,' 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman,' and ' Forever After.'

4 p.m. Alumni Panel and Mixer, Sinnott Family - Bank of Utica Auditorium, in the Museum of Art Hear from a panel of PrattMWP Alumni as they offer career advice for those pursuing a career in the arts.

5 – 7 p.m. Dinner, Student Center Families and Alumni are welcome to enjoy the wonderful offerings of our dining hall throughout the course of the weekend.*

7 p.m. Screening of Bee Movie followed by a Q&A with Director Steve Hickner Sinnott Family - Bank of Utica Auditorium, in the Museum of Art Join us for a screening of Bee Movie, introduced by Director Steve Hickner. Stick around after the movie for a discussion and Q&A with Steve Hickner.

9 p.m. Alumni Only Meet Up at Nail Creek, 720 Varick Street, Utica, NY 13502
