It was designed in the early seventeen hundreds by the architect Francesco Gallo. The tour offers an inimitable ascent to the top of the dome. Visitors will climb spiral staircases and tread timeworn service passageways, enjoying sweeping outside views and exceptional perspectives of the great painted ceiling. Step after step, past walkways, buttresses and cornices, groups will revisit the history of works that took centuries to complete, admire more than 6,000 square metres of frescos and see the sophisticated modern technology that closely monitors the building’s structural condition. Castelmagno is a DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) cheese typical of the province of Cuneo that is produced in the Valle Grana, only in three village. The famous cheese has a long history of many centuries, although its origins are probably much earlier: the first mention dates back to 1277. Arrived in Valle Grana, we will have a cooking lesson where we will learn how to make the “Gnocchi al Castelmagno”.     Itineraries by bicycle in Piedmont 5 DAYS PROGRAM Days 1-2: Roero’s vineyards Transfer by coach from the International Airport to Roero, accommodation in agritourism. A stay in Roero, one of the most interesting Piedmont areas for viticulture, but not yet so well-known, to discover villages and gastronomy. In this area we will organize fascinating tours by bicycle following paved roads getting through to vineyards and hazelnut trees. This tour, 550 m ascent in 45 km, starts from Canale d’Alba passing through Castellinaldo with its majestic castle, medieval Priocca, panoramic viewpoint of Magliano Alfieri, Vezza d’Alba, and arrives in Montà d’Alba where it’s possibile to admire its enchanting castle. Transfer by coach to Langhe. Overnight in an agritourism. Days 3-4: Langhe’s vineyards and castles A stay in Langhe, an area renowned for its vintage wines, castles and spectacular panoramas. This tour, 550 m ascent in 43 km, leaves Grinzane Cavour with its marvelous castle, cross charming and fine vineyards, reaches the small villages of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d’Alba with its impressive castle, Barolo with its old town centre and the inevitable castle, the new WiMu (Wine Museum), the Barolo Museum and the rows of selected vineyards all round, La Morra and its extraordinary panoramic viewpoint then returns to Grinzane Cavour. During the track light lunches are prepared with local Langhe’s recipes in renowned taverns and it will be possible enjoy refined Barolo wine tasting leaving in the van the items purchased. Azienda Consortile Ecologica Monregalese è un Consorzio obbligatorio dal 1995, 3 ha come soci 87 Comuni, quasi un terzo dei Comuni della Provincia di Cuneo, con un totale di 96.323 abitanti su un territorio di 1.733,66 Kmq. L’A.C.E.M.... COSA FA? L’A.C.E.M. dopo aver costruito e gestito per oltre dieci anni l’impianto di smaltimento di Lesegno, nel 2003 ha realizzato ed attivato il nuovo impianto di Magliano Alpi, che viene utilizzato dagli 87 Comuni consorziati. Presso questo impianto viene effettuata la lavorazione dei seguenti rifiuti: rifiuti differenziati, rifiuti indifferenziati e rifiuti speciali non pericolosi (rifiuti non pericolosi provenienti da ditte ed industrie). impianto di L’impianto di Magliano Alpi ha una superficie complessiva di oltre 200.000 Magliano Alpi metri quadrati. Il trattamento e la lavorazione dei rifiuti indifferenziati vengono effettuati nei vasche di discarica 7.000 metri quadrati di capannoni che compongono il settore A, mentre la Magliano Alpi lavorazione dei rifiuti differenziati viene effettuata nei 5.400 metri quadrati Lesegno Vicoforte che compongono il settore B. Complessivamente le strutture ed i capannoni dove vengono effettuate le diverse lavorazioni hanno una superficie di circa 12.500 metri quadrati. All’entrata dell’impianto ogni rifiuto viene pesato e vengono controllati i documenti che indicano la quantità, la tipologia e il Comune di provenienza riciclerie del materiale conferito.
