Energy efficiency with Hager time switches

Every building, residential or commercial, has its own particular energy requirements at specific times of the day, month or year. Time switches allow adjustment of the building’s control system precisely to meet these needs, providing more convenience, safety and efficiency. They enable not only the chronological control of indoor and outdoor lighting, but also time other functions such as shutter/blind control, heating management and the watering of grounds. And the best thing is they don’t mind working when no one else does, so they’re ideal for simulating presence during a holiday! EMDA AGM EIFI NEWS AECI and CIRI At the end of May, Government approval for the drafting and publication of the General Scheme of the Building Control (Construction Industry Register Ireland) (CIRI) Bill 2017 was issued.

Following concerns raised by Members of the Electrical Manufacturers and Distributors Associaton at their members of the AECI, that AGM which took place on Tuesday 27th June in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Registered Electrical Contractors were being compelled to be further registered by CIRI, representations were made to the Department Golf At Powerscourt of Housing and Planning. It was pointed out that Registered Electrical Contractors are already ’‘Ž‹ ‡†ƒ† ‡”–‹Ƥ‡†„›ƒˆ‡ Electric/RECI. As a result of the discussions it has been agreed by the government bodies involved, to make Registered Electrical Contractors exempt from CIRI.

The wording of the Bill now reads:

That’s Ingenuity for life.. Experiencing a moment of greatness without electricity? That’s unthinkable. Yet natural energy sources – like wind and sun – don’t adjust to our demands. That’s why Siemens software connects many small power producers to balance the load across the grid, even when energy from renewable sources rises and falls. This helps prevent outages, while increasing small power producers’ profitability. It also makes real what matters by paving the way for uninterrupted awesomeness at rock concerts. And that’s Ingenuity for life.
