Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOP – 2019

Food and Wine Magazine, April, 2021 Abruzzo may be Italy’s least known but most exciting wine region; one reason for that is Cristiana Tiberio. Her have become wine list must-haves in the past few years, particularly her long-aging, single vineyard Fonte Canale Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. That wine is pricey, but her basic, citrus-scented 2019 Trebbiano ‘Abruzzo ($20) is also superb and a steal.

92 Points - Sense - Ian D'Agata, January, 2021 Delicate straw-green colour. Refined aromas and flavours of apple, pear and minty herbs are lifted by notes of white flowers. Long and lively on the minerally- accented finish, there’s sneaky concentration and lovely purity to this wine. Drinking window: now-2024

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast, March, 2021 Delicate aromas of lemongrass and chamomile ride over a ripe peach core in this Trebbiano from an estate vineyard in Pescara. Light in feel, the palate is carried by spritely white orchard fruit flavors, with lingering accents of lemon pith and white plum skin. GENERAL INFO
