Volkswagen chose AutoMobility LA to announce the farewell tour for the iconic Beetle, a U.S. mainstay of almost 70 years. The commemorative showcase featured nearly 30 Beetles on display — highlighted by the 2019 Beetle Final Edition models — as well as complimentary food and live entertainment. Alongside Los Angeles-based owners, Volkswagen collected a number of heritage Beetles dating as far back as 1946, including (but not limited to) the 1969 Wedding Beetle, 1971 Meyers Manx and Americas Rallycross-winning Beetle racecar. “This is a great opportunity to highlight the heritage of the Beetle brand and to introduce the 2019 Beetle Final Edition coupe and convertible to the media.
