Min.292 Minutes of Cyngor Cymuned Aberchwiler – Aberwheeler Community Council on Tuesday, 25th June, 2019 at 7.00pm in the Waen Chapel School Room, Aberwheeler. Present: Community Councillor D M Roberts (Chair), H Burton (Vice-Chair), D G Edwards, J A Jones, and the Clerk H Williams. Apologies: Community Councillors G M Jones, H Sweetman and County Councillor M Parry. 50/19 Members of the Public. Nil 51/19 Declaration of Interest. Nil 52/19 Apologies. 53/19 Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting. Accepted as correct. 54/19 Matters Arising. Community Councillor I V Parry has resigned. The Clerk will inform Denbighshire County Council and the required procedure for a Casual Vacancy will commence. 55/19 Correspondence. The Chairman of Denbighshire County Council Civic Sunday is on 21st July, 2019, at 2.00pm at Cefn Meiriadog Chapel. Community Councillor J A Jones and The Clerk will represent Aberwheeler Community Council. 56/19 Planning. Application No. 09/2019/0429. Location Efail Y Waen Parcel 3. Proposal Removal of part hedgerow and creation of new field access. No Objections. Application No. 09/2019/0349. Location Land adjacent to Allt Y Ddol. Proposal Erection of an agricultural building with associated hard standing and boundary treatments. No Objections to this agricultural building used for agricultural purpose only. Should the building be used for any other purpose it should be removed. The old shed on site should be demolished as this area is the AONB. 57/19 Finance. Internal Audit has been carried out by JDH Business Services Ltd. The Clerk gave a presentation and the Members agreed to carry out the recommendations. The External Audit will be carried out by BDO Southampton and the Clerk has added this information on our website. Member approved payment for the following: - JDH Business Services Ltd., £163.20p by cheque No. 100287. H G Web Designs £300.00 by cheque No 100288. Bank Bal. £1969.23p 58/19 Other Matters. Community Councillor H Burton recommended sowing wild flowers in the Aberwheeler Planter in the spring. Footpath and part of hedgerow removed at sign at Tyn y Celyn field near Tyn y Celyn House. Grass thrown into stream by Tyn y Celyn garden. The Clerk has spent £25.85p at a local retail store in Denbigh on plants for the Aberwheeler Planter and the Clerk and Eirlys Davies have carried out the work of planting the colourful plants. The padlock on the Aberwheeler Playing Field has been stolen, while the Contractors where cutting the grass. Meeting closed at 8.20pm. Next Meeting on Tuesday 30 July, 2019. .
