Der offizielle Name "Expo 2020 Dubai" wird fortbestehen. Wie das zuständige Internationale Büro der Weltausstellung (BIE) in Paris am 4.5.2020 mitteilte, sei die notwendige Zweidrittel- Mehrheit durch die Mitgliedstaaten bereits erreicht, obwohl die Abstimmung dazu noch bis Ende Mai laufe. Diese Entscheidung wurde aufgrund der Auswirkungen der Covid-19-Pandemie in Solidarität mit den teilnehmenden Ländern und im Einklang mit der Regierung von Dubai getroffen. September 2021 Verfasser: Autorin Kirstin Kabasci Die weltweite Covd-19-Pandemie führt auch in den V.A.E. weiterhin zu Einschränkungen im internationalen Luft- und Reiseverkehr sowie zu Beeinträchtigungen des öffentlichen Lebens. Generell gilt zu beachten, dass Abu Dhabi und Dubai bzw. die anderen Emirate unterschiedliche Einreiseverfahren und Corona- Testbestimmungen anwenden. Auch Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zur Eindämmung von Covid-19 werden zum Teil unterschiedlich gehandhabt. Schnelle Änderungen können möglich sein. Landesweit müssen ausländische Reisende bei Einreise u.a. bestimmte Testvorschriften erfüllen, eine Auslandsreisekrankenversicherung nachweisen und die staatliche Tracing App AlHosn installieren. Touristen benöigen zur Aktivierung dieser Smartphone-Applikation eine persönliche, sechstellige „Unified Identification Number" (UID), sie wird bei Einreise von den Einwanderungsbehörden am Flughafen vergeben und im Einreisestempel im Reisepass oder auf der Visaseite vermerkt. Al Hosn zeigt als farbliche Kategorisierung den aktuellen Impfstatus einer Person und listet Covid-19 Testergebnisse bzw. -daten auf. Für Touristen werden zudem Reiseinformationen angezeigt. Mit ein paar Klicks kann man innerhalb der Anwendung auf eine Kopie des EU Impfausweises zugreifen (hochladbar z.B. per E-Mail oder Google Drive). Um den grünen AlHosn-Status zu erhalten, müssen Personen geimpft und/oder negativ auf Covid-19 getestet sein. Ab dem 15. August können Einzelpersonen Zertifikate für die zugelassenen Impfstoffe (AstraZeneca / Covishield, Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik, Sinopharm), die im Ausland erworben wurden, über die ICA Smart App oder smartservices.ica.gov.ae registrieren. Ungeimpfte Touristen können jeweils 3 Tage lang den grünen Status erlangen, wenn sie ein aktuelles negatives PCR Testergebnis vorweisen. Bei Anreise mit dem Flugzeug nach Abu Dhabi (betrifft nur Abu Dhabi!) müssen Besucher, die aus bestimmten Ländern anreisen, eine Quarantänepflicht erfüllen. Ausgenommen davon sind Reisende mit Direktflügen aus bestimmten Ländern der „Grünen Liste". Deutschland war zu obigem Datum auf der grünen Liste gelistet, also quarantänefrei. Geimpfte Passagiere, die aus Ländern der Grünen Liste einreisen, müssen sich derzeit abei Ankunft und am sechsten Tag nach ihrer Ankunft in der Hauptstadt einem PCR- Test unterziehen (der Tag der Ankunft gilt als Tag 0), ungeimpfte Passagiere aus Ländern der Grünen Liste müssen sich zusätzlich am zwölften Tag einem PCR-Test vorweisen. Über ein Jahr lang galten PCR Test-Regelungen zur Einreise nach Abu Dhabi aus anderen Emiraten – doch diese sind ab dem 19.9.2021 aufgehoben. In Abu Dhabi gelten für Touristen nicht nur strenge Einreise- und Testbestimmungen sondern - und dies betrifft auch alle Staatsangehörigen & Einwohner ab 16 Jahren – hier ist der Zugang zu nahezu allen öffentlichen Bereichen wie Einkaufszentren, Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, Stränden, Parks, Freizeitparks, Museen, Schulen usw. sowie die Teinahme an z.B. Sport-, Kultur-, Musik-Veranstaltungen nur mit bestimmten Impf- bzw. Negativtestnachweisen gestattet. Den als „Green Pass" oder „Green Status" bezeichneten Nachweis zeigt die AlHosn App grün gekennzeichnet. Dubai verlangt einen grünen AlHosn Status von denjenigen, die Bars, Nachtclubs und Live-Events besuchen möchten. Landesweit müssen Reisende, bei denen das Coronavirus nachgewiesen wurde oder die engen Kontakt mit einer infizierten Person hatten, sich auf eigene Kosten in Quarantäne begeben. Dies gilt auch für symptomfreie Personen. Eine Heimreise nach Deutschland ist erst am Ende der Quarantänepflicht mit Negativ-Testergebnis möglich. September 2021 Verfasser: Autorin Kirstin Kabasci Dubai ist stolz darauf, vom 1. Oktober 2021 bis zum 31. März 2022 (182 Tage) Austragungsort der ersten Expo-Weltausstellung im arabischen Raum zu sein zu sein. Der Name der Ausstellung wurde beibehalten, nachdem sie ursprünglich ab Ende 2020 stattfinden sollte doch aufgrund der weltweiten Covid-19 Viruspandemie der Termin um ein Jahr verschoben wurde. Im Schatten der Pandemie wird Dubai Expo 2020 die größte Veranstaltung des Jahres sein. Vielen Bedenken zum Trotz soll die Expo ein Erfolg werden. Ausgeklügelte Abstands- und Hygienekonzepte stehen an erster Stelle. Aus den Emiraten Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi International Airport, Abu Dhabi Main Bus Station, Marina Mall Station), Sharjah (Al Jubail Bus Station, Muwaileh Station), Fujairah (City Centre Fujairah), Ajman (Ajman Bus Station), Ras Al Khaimah (Ras Al Khaimah Bus Station) und Al Ain (Al Ain Bus Station ) kann man mit Sonderbussen der Dubaier Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) direkt zur Expo fahren. Aus Dubai fahren Gratis-Shuttle-Busse zum Expogelände, z.B. von Al Ghubaiba Station, Palm Jumeirah, Etisalat Metro Station, Dubai Mall, Dubai International Airport. Auch Dubais Metro fährt auf der Route 2020 direkt zum Expogelände, zur Station Expo 2020. Besucher können als besonderes Souvenir individuell gestaltbare Expo-Besucherpässe bekommen. Mit ihm kann man durch die Länderausstellungen schlendern und zur Erinnerung Stempel, Aufkleber, Autogramme sammeln. Der Besucherpass ist ein 50- seitiges Heftchen, das ähnlich wie ein offizieller Reisepass geformt ist und Designs und Bilder prominenter Pavillons, Wahrzeichen und anderer Elemente mit Bezug zu Dubai und den Emiraten enthält. Mit persönlichen Fotos, Wasserzeichen und Daten gleicht kein Besucherpass dem anderen. Besucher der Expo müssen ihre Covid-19- Impfbescheinigung oder einen negativen PCR-Test vorweisen. Ungeimpfte Personen, die sich vor Eintritt noch nicht haben testen lassen,
