After a hearty breakfast at your hotel you will joining a private tour of Krakow Old Town. Krakow is known as the cultural capital of Poland with Old Town listed as UNESCO Heritage. During the tour you will see Barbican and defensive walls with Florian's Gate, the Main Market Square with Sukiennice Cloth Hall, St Mary's Church and Town Hall Tower. You will then continue to the Jagiellonian University, pass by Archbishop Palace (where John Paul II used to live) as well as St Andrew's Church and Paul's Church to reach the Wawel Hill. It was a residence of Polish Piast nobles. In 2009 it was voted as one of the ""Seven Architectural Wonders of the Silesian Voivodeship"" by the Silesian authorities and is often described as one of the most beautiful castle residences in Poland. Visit to the castle. Transfer to the brewery in Tychy. Discover the secrets of one of the largest polish breweries and taste the most typical Polish beer brand – Tyskie, which name comes from this city! Transfer back to Krakow. As you walk through the doors, you will step into the era of Chopin for a two-part ensemble of Chopin’s greatest pieces played by internationally recognized pianists. During the intermission, you will be invited to a glass of sparkling wine, orange juice, or water. This concert is both a perfect start and/or finishing touch to a romantic evening in the Old Town. If you are starting your night with the concert, you may choose to end it in one of the many restaurants that our beautiful old town has to offer. Duration: 1hr Unique Polish Folklore Workshops - Boleslawiec Pottery Decorating Get to know famous ceramics from Boleslawiec. We will teach you how to decorate a ceramic vessel just as the Artists in Boleslawiec do. We provide lessons so that your work can become something really special. The workshop covers the basics of decorating with Boleslawiec stamps, painting with brushes, and the elements of composition. The workshop lasts 60 minutes, and then the vessel is sent for glazing. Glazing lasts from 3 to 7 days and only then the work is ready for pickup. It is also possible to send burnt works to any place in the world. There is a shop on site, where you can buy unique ceramics from Boleslawiec as a travel souvenir or a unique gift. In this debate, the difference between the nominal façade colour and the façade colour as perceived in the cityscape was not acknowledged. The nominal colour is here defined as the colour that the surface would have if viewed in the standardised situation used in the definition of Natural Colour System (NCS) samples, including standard light, viewing distance and surrounding colours. The nominal colour is expressed through the NCS notation of the colour sample that is the most similar to the façade in direct comparison, and for a newly painted façade it corresponds to the NCS notation of the paint. The aim of the present study is to investigate the difference between perceived colour as seen from a distance of approximately thirty metres, and the nominal colour of the same façades. The method is based on previously published work by Fridell Anter using the NCS for survey and analysis. The perceived colours of nine façades are determined under different weather conditions, in a total of 84 observations. The analysis shows that the perceived blackness of the façades is generally lower than the nominal blackness.

    UNESCO - WORLD HERITAGE IN POLAND Marta C, Julia D, Agata W, Jan We Historic Centre of Kraków Kraków Old Town is the historic central district of Kraków, Poland. It is one of the most famous old districts in Poland today and was the center of Poland's political life from 1038 until King Sigismund III Vasa relocated his court to Warsaw in 1596. Wieliczka and Bochnia Royal Salt Mines The Wieliczka Salt Mine, located in the town of Wieliczka in southern Poland, lies within the Kraków metropolitan area. The minecontinuously produced table salt from the 13th century until 2007. It is believed to be the world's 14th-oldest company. białowieza forest The Białowieża Forest is an ancient woodland straddling the border between the two countries, located 70 km north of Brest (Belarus) and 62 km south-east of Białystok (Poland). It is one of the last and largest remaining parts of the immense primeval forest. Historic Centre of Warsaw Warsaw's Old Town was established in the 13th century. Initially surrounded by an earthwork rampart, prior to 1339 it was fortified with brick city walls. The town originally grew up around the castle of the Dukes of Mazovia that later became the Royal castle. Old City of Zamość Jan Zamoyski commissioned the Italian architect Bernardo Morando to design the city that would be based on the anthropomorphic concept. The main distinguishing features of the Old Town have been well preserved since its establishment. It includes the regular Great Market Square of 100 x 100 meters with the splendid Townhall and so-called Armenian houses, as well as the fragments of the original fortress and fortifications, including those from the period of the Russian occupation in the 19th century.
