I can understand the problem of parking in Roberstbridge. On joining up with the & Railway, I would park at Tenderden, take the train to Roberstbridge junction. Take a break at Roberstbridge and walk in to the Village for something to eat. This is the same senaro as the where you drive to Sheffield Park, take the train to East Grinstead and walk into the Town for a break. I have also travelled to the Bluebell Rly by rail leaving the car at home. I would probably consider doing the journey by rail if you could travel from Robertsbridge to Tenderden by train. Seeing the econmic benefit to East Grinstead following the Bluebell Railways extension, I am sure it would help to bring money and tourists into the Rother Valley, including Robertsbridge generating more employment opportunities. Indeed, if the railway was reinstated it would need more permanent staff due to is length. Another , the Norfolk has brought enormous benefits to Sheringham plus having extensive engineering workshops. This creates further job opportunities. The Parking issue could be resolved by the K&ES railway advising motorists where to park and not to park. Having travelled on a passenger train from Roberstbridge to Tenderden when the line was open, it would be really lovely to see it reopened again. I should mention that I have no connection with the Rother Valley Railway or the K&ES Railway.
