Qualificazione Olimpiadi Di Rio 2016 COMUNICATO DEL 16 OTTOBRE 2015 Glasgow (Scozia, Regno Unito) - XXXXVI CAMPIONATI DEL MONDO DI GINNASTICA ARTISTICA MASCHILE E FEMMINILE La Squadra Femminile di Ginnastica Artistica in partenza sabato per i Mondiali qualificanti! Lunedì il turno degli uomini L’Italdonne arriverà nel Regno Unito domani, alle 16:05 ore locali. In palio ci sono 42 medaglie iridate (6 di squadra, 6 individuali e 30 di specialità tra maschi e femmine) e almeno 80 carte olimpiche a disposizione per volare direttamente in Brasile. Seconda chance al Test Event dal 16 al 19 aprile dell’anno prossimo. Tutte le finali in diretta su Rai Sport 1 e 2. Prende ufficialmente il via, sabato mattina, dall’Aeroporto Linate di Milano (volo KL 1620 delle 10:50), la missione italiana per la 46ª edizione dei Campionati del Mondo di Ginnastica Artistica Maschile e Femminile. L’Italdonne sarà la prima a raggiungere la SSE Ydro Arena di Glasgow, dove, dal 23 ottobre al 1 novembre, andrà in scena l’ultima rassegna iridata del quadriennio olimpico, qualificante per i Giochi di Rio de Janeiro. Insieme alla campionessa del mondo di Aarhus 2006 Vanessa FERRARI (C.S. Esercito Italiano), partiranno Erika FASANA (C.S. Esercito Italiano), Elisa MENEGHINI (Gal Lissone) e Lara MORI (Giglio Montevarchi) - protagoniste della qualificazione per Glasgow ai mondiali di Nanning dell’anno scorso - Carlotta FERLITO (C.S. Esercito), Enus MARIANI (Pro Lissone) e la due volte campionessa italiana Tea UGRIN (Artistica ’81 Trieste). La formula di gara è 6-5-4, ovvero salgono all’attrezzo in cinque e vengono considerati i migliori quattro punteggi. Il Direttore Tecnico Nazionale, Enrico Casella, in occasione del premondiale di Novara (10 ottobre 2015), ha già annunciato che deciderà il nome della riserva direttamente in Scozia nel corso delle prove podio. La Squadra Maschile, invece, ha fissato il raduno per lunedì 19 ottobre e sarà composta da Paolo PRINCIPI (G.S. Aeronautica), Ludovico EDALLI (G.S. Aeronautica), Andrea CINGOLANI (G.S. Aeronautica), Paolo OTTAVI (G.S. Aeronautica), Nicola BARTOLINI (ASD Cagliari), Mattia TAMIAZZO (Corpo Libero Gymnastics Team Padova) e Tommaso DE VECCHIS (Milano Gym Lab 2013) . Completano la delegazione guidata dal Vice Presidente Vicario FGI Valter Peroni, il DTN Femminile con i tecnici Paolo Bucci, Claudia Ferrè e Laura Rizzoli; il Responsabile delle Squadre Nazionali Maschili Paolo Pedrotti con i coach Sergiy Kasperskyy, Serguei Oudalov e Marco Fortuna; gli ufficiali di gara Carmen Basla, Maria Cocuzza e Fulvio Traverso; il medico Matteo Ferretti e il fisioterapista Salvatore Scintu. Il Presidente della Federazione Ginnastica d’Italia, prof. Riccardo Agabio, a proposito della formazione maschile ha dichiarato: “Oggi si è conclusa la preparazione per i Mondiali che ha determinato la selezione dei sette atleti convocati. La scelta è stata fatta con attenzione e il risultato è una squadra completamente rinnovata: giovani promettenti che speriamo si sappiano difendere bene. Per quanto riguarda le nostre ambizioni, sappiamo che sarà difficile superare l’esame al primo turno. Arrivare tra i primi otto nel settore maschile è un’impresa ardua rispetto alle nostre attuali possibilità, contiamo di restare nel gruppo delle sedici che affronteranno il Test Event il prossimo Aprile per poter essere anche noi protagonisti a Rio nel 2016”. A proposito della formazione GAF ha poi aggiunto: “ Lo schieramento della Femminile è già deciso. L’infortunio di Martina Rizzelli ci ha messo in condizione di non avere altre scelte, per il momento saranno tutte titolari e la riserva verrà scelta il giorno prima della competizione. Con le ragazze le aspettative sono maggiori. Escludendo eventuali sorprese, credo che potremmo ambire alla qualificazione diretta”. La 46° edizione dei Mondiali sarà decisiva per i Giochi Olimpici del 2016. I posti a disposizione sono 196 in totale compreso il posto per il Paese ospitante e per la Commissione Tripartita (quindi 98 per la Femminile e 98 per la Maschile) e almeno 80 (40 + 40) della squadra saranno assegnati a Glasgow. Sulla pedana della SSE YDRO Arena saliranno le migliori 24 nazioni del Mondiale 2014 con 6 atleti ciascuna. Le migliori 8 squadre femminili e le migliori 8 maschili del concorso CI (23 ottobre - L’Italdonne è inserita nella 5a suddivisione e incomincia alle parallele asimmetriche, mentre la Maschile parte dal corpo libero nell’8a suddivisione in programma il 26 ottobre) si qualificheranno direttamente alle Olimpiadi, dove potranno portare 5 atleti a testa. Inoltre, i medagliati di tutte le finali di specialità staccheranno un pass nominativo. Ovviamente il posto verrà loro assegnato soltanto se la Nazione d’ appartenenza non si qualifica con la squadra. Chi non ce la dovesse fare a Glasgow, ovvero le squadre classificate dal 9° al 16° posto del concorso CI, disputeranno il Test Event 2016, dove verranno assegnati gli ultimi quattro posti a disposizione.
