Verizon Foundation, Domestic Abuse Project for $48,000, 2006 - Received Multi - year support to build an online curriculum for youth on domestic violence. Authored grant to cover staff and intern time to design and develop a website targeting at-risk youth in Rich- mond, Virginia to help them understand and deal with domestic violence. Grant received and completed.

Great Bay Foundation, Business Model Development for $300,000, 2005-07 - Finalist Multi-year operational support for Media WORKS Enterprise, Training and Development Corp. The purpose of the grant is to support the development and marketing of a product / service that will bring sustainability to the program in Bangor, Maine. Finalist, but parent company went out of business.

Fundraising Title XI Grant, Department of Education for $350,000, 1996 - Received Experience Operational support of pilot international studies program at College of the Atlantic. North and South Atlantic Partnership Initiative. Assisted in developing concept and authoring the application with two colleagues. Grant received; administered one of the three years of the grant.

Iowa Arts Council for $10,000, 1992 - Received Operational support for the Auditorium Gallery. Funding for honorariums, travel, and installation expenses for exhibit series featuring emerging woman artists.

Gifts and Fundraising Programs

Altos de Chavón, Philip Pearlstein Posters, 1992 & 1994 - completed Coordination of development and marketing of original silkscreen print by Philip Pearlstein. Liaison with the artist during production, assisted in contacting villa owners for presentation and sales. Budget projections.

Altos de Chavón, Miscellaneous Gifts, 1991-1994 - completed Presentations and gift requests made to local wealthy villa owners. Primarily focused on requesting scholarship funds or incidental support of student exhibits.

Media WORKS Enterprise - Maine, Conversion to Marketplace, 2005 - Proposal Development of three year proforma, fundraising plan, and materials. Advised by the President, authored plan to move the program from federally funded program to a multiple- source funded program by combining revenue from products and services, gifts, and community service proj- ects. Parent company went out of business before plan was implemented.

Media WORKS Enterprise - Richmond, Success by Design Campaign, 2006 - Proposal Development of six million dollar, six year proforma, fundraising plan and materials. Advised by the President, plan author and coordinator of execution to launch a Media WORKS Enterprise site in Richmond. Includes, desktop presentation, needs research findings, fundraising brochure, proforma presen- tation, oral presentations to potential funders, and meetings with Foundation representatives. Parent company went out of business before plan was implemented.
