A Walk Around Willingham Woods - Market Rasen Walkers are Welcome and Forestry Commission 2-3 miles walk 2hrs Starts 10am at Willingham Woods picnic site (off A631) A short walk around a busy edge of town Forestry Commission (FC) woodland.. The FC Forester and Market Rasen WaW will share how the woodland is managed for timber, wildlife and people.

Nettleton Valley - Walkers are Welcome 5 miles Circular Walk 3hrs Starts 10.15am at Salutation Inn, Nettleton A circular walk along the Viking Way, up the beautiful Nettleton Valley, past the heritage of the ironstone mines and disappeared villages, continuing up near the highest part of the Wolds. - boots needed

Geology Detectives in Caistor - Caistor Walkers are Welcome 1.5 miles walk 1hr 15mins Starts 2pm at Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre Cross millions of years of prehistory as you stroll through the small town of Caistor with a well-known local geologist. Sited on the scarp slope of the Wolds the rocks range from Jurassic clays which form the lowland of the Ancholme valley to the younger Cretaceous chalk at the top of the town.

Horncastle Town Walk - Walkers are Welcome 1.5 mile walk 1hr 30mins. Starts 1.30pm from Admiral Rodney A guided walk around this small market town will highlight its remarkable history. There are strong links to agriculture and commerce with warehouses, maltings, Victorian shop fronts and the canal .The walk will also pass buildings connected to the town’s famous sons, Edward Harrison noted physician, Sir Henry Lunn (Lunn Poly) and Sir , noted botanist & explorer
