Learning Odysseys with Mary Hanna for 2015: Oregon Coast Adventure ~ Our spring visit to the Oregon Coast will include three nights at the lovely Channel House set on the rocks over the ocean where the Depoe Bay Channel meets the Pacific Ocean. This setting offers a wonderful opportunity to view migrating gray whales. The Depoe Bay Coast Guard Station has invited us into their “home” to share astonishing pictures of their sometimes dangerous rescues, plus a chance to step aboard a Coast Guard vessel. Our itinerary will include time to explore and relax in this scenic area as well as a stop at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum (home of the Spruce Goose) located in McMinnville, Oregon.
