German-American Heritage Foundation of the USA® https://gahmusa.org/ GAHF cultivates a greater awareness for German-American heritage and history through outreach efforts that deepen cultural understanding.

Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania https://genpa.org/ Concentrates on Pennsylvania and adjoining states, but also immigration into and out of Pennsylvania. Various records for multiple counties available, along with German Marriage records published in Der Bauernfreund 1832-1858. Membership is $45 per year for full access.

Germanic Genealogy Society (GGS) https://ggsmn.org/ GGS offers information, educational opportunities, publications, and association with others researching German roots, including areas outside the current borders of Germany. Has free webinars and other information. Membership is $20 per year for full access.

Immigrant Genealogical Society (IGS) https://immigrantgensoc.org/ The IGS maintains a genealogical research library, publishes a newsletter and two periodical journals, and offers searches of its holdings for users worldwide. Located in Burbank, near the SCGS Library, the Immigrant Library serves as the IGS headquarters and houses a collection of materials related to German and American genealogy.

International German Genealogy Partnership (IGGP) https://iggpartner.org/ IGGP’s mission is to facilitate German genealogy research globally as the internationally recognized federation of German genealogy organizations

Sacramento German Genealogy Society (SGGS) https://sggs.us/ Based in Sacramento, SGGS has over 800 members in forty US states and three foreign countries. Lots of resources available. $30 per year membership, not required for all areas of the website or most events.

Society for German Genealogy in Eastern Europe (SGGEE) https://sggee.org/ Devoted to the study of people with German ancestry (most often of the Lutheran, Baptist, or Moravian Brethren faiths) who lived in present-day Poland and northwestern Ukraine.
