TV LAND SALUTES MOST MEMORABLE DADS WITH “TV’S TOP 10 DADS”

Hollywood Stars Reminisce About Their Favorite TV Dads on Wednesday, June 16

New York, New York, June 9, 2004 –TV Land continues to roll out its line-up of original specials this summer and celebrates Father’s Day by taking a look at some of the most memorable dads in television as the network premieres TV’s Top 10 Dads on Wednesday, June 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. This half-hour special features interviews with celebrities Eric McCormack, Brad Garrett, Danny Bonaduce, Lewis Black and several others – who lend their insight into some of their favorite TV dads – from Ozzy Nelson to Ozzie Osbourne. The special was produced for TV Land by TV Land Productions in conjunction with Robert Smalls Entertainment. The show will repeat on Thursday, June 17 at 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Friday, June 18 at 5 p.m. and 12 a.m. (all times ET/PT).

“What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a TV Land original special counting down some of the most unforgettable television dads,” states Sal Maniaci, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, TV Land. “We’ve polled our viewers, stars and TV critics, and the experts of TV Land have come up with a definitive list of famous television fathers from some of the most memorable shows in television history.”

TV Land Productions was created in 2003 to create original programming that complements the network’s successful acquired programming slate. TV Land Productions is headed by Sal Maniaci, Senior Vice President of Development and Production, TV Land. In addition to this production, TV Land Productions has also produced The TV Land Awards Show: A Celebration of Classic TV (March 2003 and 2004) and The Dick Van Dyke Show, Revisited, the network’s first original special for broadcast, which aired on CBS.
