Uanset om du er besat af konspirationsteorier, vild med verdenshistorie eller elsker skattejagt, finder du timevis af inspirerende programmer i de kommende uger på HISTORY og H2. I en helt ny serie i seks afsnit, Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels, afslører den tidligere HA-præsident George Christie Jr. de dybeste hemmeligheder og vildeste historier fra verdens mest legendariske motorcykelklub. Det er historien om Hells Angels, som du aldrig har hørt den før! Serien, som har taget USA med storm, får premiere på HISTORY i Danmark d. 9. januar. Søndag d. 17. januar er der premiere på tredje sæson af successerien The Curse of Oak Islandpå HISTORY. Serien følger brødrene Lagina, som tager hul på det hidtil mest spændende kapitel i det 220 år gamle mysterium om en skat, der efter sigende er begravet på øen. Premierelisten for januar omfatter også en helt ny klassisk bilserie, Leepu & Pitbull, og i februar rejser vi "down under" og jagter gode handler i Pawn Stars Australia og Aussie Pickers. Den 19. og 20. marts viser HISTORY to eksklusive dokumentarer, Alcatraz: The Search for the Truth og Inside Alcatraz: Legends of the Rock, om verdens mest berømte og berygtede fængsel. Som tidligere offentliggjort blænder HISTORY op for en ny stor dramadokumentarisk serie i første halvdel af 2016. I otte afsnit fortæller Barbarians Rising historien om Spartacus, Attila, Hannibal og andre rebeller, som tvang Romerriget i knæ. Premieredato bekræftes senere. På H2 er America's Book of Secrets tilbage med tredje sæson hver mandag aften, og søndag d. 24. januar genforenes soldaterne, som befriede kz-lejren Dachau i april 1945, med nogle af de fanger, som de var med til at redde. Det sker i dokumentaren The Liberators of Dachau. Er UFO'er fakta eller fiktion? I den helt nye serie Hangar 1: The UFO Files får H2 enestående adgang til den uafhængige organisation MUFON's arkiv med over 70.000 dokumenter indsamlet gennem mere end et halvt århundrede. In a preliminary section Alexandre first gives a brief survey of the study of the transmission of the corpus Philonicum in modern scholarship and announces the theme of her article, namely to present some reflections on the Latin titles now in general use in Philonic scholarship. In the first part of the article she shows how the replacement of Greek titles by Latin ones is part of the humanist tradition, and is illustrated by the history of Philonic editions from Turnebus to Arnaldez– Pouilloux–Mondésert. She then goes on in the second part to examine the Latin tradition of Philo’s reception in antiquity (Jerome, Rufinus, the Old Latin translation) in order to see whether the titles transmitted by it were influential in determining the Latin titles used in the editions. This appears to have hardly been the case. In the third part the titles now in use are analysed. Most of them were invented by the humanists of the Renaissance and the succeeding period; only a few are the work of philologists of the th century.
