Legal Assistance We Suggest Advice Be Sought from the Local Citizens Advice Bureau Clients with brain damage will often have their own particular and specific legal needs. It is important to get the right legal advice from specialist lawyers who understand the client’s needs and requirements. We cannot recommend a specific Solicitor, but we do recommend seeking advice from a Solicitor who is registered with Headway as a specialist in brain injury. Specific areas of concern to those with brain damage and their families and carers include: Mental Health Tribunals. Claims for Damages whether through the Courts or the CICB (Criminal Injury Compensation Board). Court of Protection Matters. Wills/Trusts to include contentious probate matters. The main function of the observer is to monitor discussions.
