September 2019: I took part in the OSA / Sound Czech songwriting camp in the Czech republic. June 2019: Jennifer Haben of Beyond the Black appears on Vox TV Germany singing my song "Through the Mirror" (lyrics by me, music Ed Glumov) on the popular TV show Sing meinen Song. May 2019: Kiki Nam Nam's song "Jungle", written in the SUISA songwriting camp by K. Northrop, S. Heuberger, and C. Riesen has been released. May 2019: Beyond the Black (D) has released an official video of Through the Mirror. May 2019: Water has been selected for the Beyond Music album, which will be recorded at Studios La Fabrique in St. Remy, France, with US producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Tracy Chapman, etc.) April 2019: My collaboration "Water" has also won the Beyond Music Public Award! With over 15,000 votes, it's the project song that inspired listeners the most. February 2019: My collaboration "Water", with Eduard Glumov (KZ) Sheryl Gambo (CG) and Sandro Friedrich (CH) has won the 2nd Creativity Award in the Beyond Music Project, a musical world integration project initiated by the Beyond Foundation (Switzerland) and Tina Turner. I miss them like mad when I’m away working. When I’m at home I do the school runr – times like that are the times they’ret going to remember. I was called a ‘hot dad’ recently. Sneddon has just become a millionaire thanks to a behind-the scenes songwriting career to relatively unknown acts, Nate James and Van Velsen, who have been successful across Europe and Asia. And the original Fame Academy winner from Paisley, who bagged a £1million contract from the show then quit because he didn't like being famous, is part of a growing breed of people whose earnings accumulate as they write lucrative songs. Scots songwriter John McLaughlin says many make today's pop stars look like paupers in comparison, even when the songs are flops in Britain. He said: "Some of my biggest records have been by people the UK public haven't heard of, such as David Charvet from Baywatch. We sold nearly two million singles with him in Europe. "It wasn't released here, but the song called Leap Of Faith was a massive hit. Another band we have is D-Side who only release records in Japan. We expect to sell 100,000 copies of their album over there and it has already sold 40,000 in Japan in one week. "If you consider I won a BMI award for a million airplays in America for the 5ive song When The Lights Go Out, that gives you an indication of what it means to have a hit in the US.
