New Stones Just In! Indigo Gabbro is available in both polished palm pieces and rough stones. Indigo Gabbro is a relatively new crystal mined in Madagascar and a few locations in Alaska. It ranges in color from light indigo purple to black. This stone is a combination of minerals including feldspar, chlorite, serpentine, muscovite, pyroxene, and magnetite. In fact, Gabbro is an essential part of the oceanic crust that underlies the Earth’s surface. The energy of Indigo Gabbro creates a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds inspiring the holder to accept and highly value their psychic abilities. Also good for easing temper, calming hot flashes, bruises, sprains and immune system disorders, Indigo Gabbro is associated with the 3rd eye and root chakras and aligns with the astrological sign of Sagittarius. Nuummite is available in polished palm pieces. Nuummite is a new stone for us at Elysian Fields and it is beautiful! It has flashes of gold iridescent color in a dark charcoal/black base and is a stone of inner power, self-mastery and alignment with elemental forces. Nuummite is mined only in a remote region in Greenland, and can only be reached when the weather is warm there, hence it is very rare. Only a few pieces available! Copal is available in rough form in the stone bin spinner. Copal is fossilized tree resin on it’s way to becoming amber. Copal carries the same energies but is thousands of years old and amber is millions. Both Copal and Amber dispel negativity, bring cheer and good luck. We have a large selection of copal for you to peruse. Turquoise – from Tibet and available in palm size and larger pieces Tibetan Turquoise is hard to come by and we are excited to share this with you. The stones are very nice and the prices are reasonable. Don’t delay as these will go quickly! Lepidolite – available in both slabs and points Lepidolite is a wonderfully calming stone (much because of the high content of lithium salt) and we most always have rough pieces in the stone spinner. This time we have also found natural slabs or slices as well as some small points. Don’t miss these beauties. Lapis – oh my! – available in pyramids, spheres, palm sized rounds and free forms The incredible deep blue color of this lapis, with gold pyrite flecks, is amazing! This shipment comes from one of our vendors who owns a mine in Pakistan and is some of the best we have ever seen. Excellent quality! Ruby and Sapphire – available in natural, rough pieces polished on one end Years ago we had some of these rough points from India and we have not seen them since until now. The polished ends are pinkish (ruby) or bluish (sapphire) or a combination which has a purple hue. Ruby is associated with the heart and root chakras and encourages passion and a zest for life. Sapphire, known as the “wisdom stone”, helps restore balance in the body and brings serenity and peace of mind. Come in soon and enjoy! .
