On November 16, we held our Fall Social, which was graciously hosted by Rye Tuten at his home. The event was well attended, and a good time was had by all. I used words like “school marm” and “stern taskmaster.” I don’t think the word “velociraptor” was in there, but the idea was there. My turn on the witness stand at the hearing included the introduction of my letters into evidence – including the descriptive Letter No. 18. When the letters were passed from the courtroom clerk to the bench, Judge Doherty grabbed her glasses and the letters and began reading them silently.
