The agreement is with Sony Seite 1 von 2 Music Entertainment Germany and covers some 8,200 m² in the “ZENTRALE” office building in Berlin. This building is part of the new office and commercial ensemble IM WIRTSCHAFTSWUNDER on Potsdamer Strasse. With this move, Sony Music Entertainment is relocating its German HQ to Berlin. The head office of Sony Music Continental Europe & Africa will also be focused in this new office building. This means that the building is now rented out completely. The company will be moving in once the building has been completed; it is currently looking at dates in summer 2020. The rental agreement was brokered by property agent Savills; SammlerUsinger acted as legal advisor to the landlord. “ZENTRALE” is the new building in the ensemble IM WIRTSCHAFTSWUNDER on the former Commerzbank site. The building boasts exceptional architecture, with its sweeping lines and its light façade made of metal and glass. The other elements in this new group of office and commercial buildings are the two existing buildings “KONTOR” and “FORUM.” Pecan Development is rejuvenating the area; the project is scheduled for completion in 2020.
