The Vehicle should be of 2010 or onward make however priority will be given to the latest model vehicle:- Sl. Tender documents can be had in the office of undersigned on payment of Tender paper cost mentioned above (not refundable) by Bank Draft payable to State Bank of India, Phusro Bazar/Bokaro Colliery Branch in favor of ‘ C.C.L. B&K Area, Kargali’ 5. The Earnest money will be deposited by the way of Bank Draft payable to State Bank of India, Phusro Bazar/Bokaro Colliery Branch in favor of ‘ C.C.L. B&K Area, Kargali’ along with the documents in 1 st part envelope .The earnest money will be converted into the initial security money and the same shall be refunded after satisfactory completion of the contract period. 6. In addition to the above method, tender document will also be available on CCL website and a tenderer can download it from the Website and in the event, the cost of tender documents shall have to be deposited by way of Bank Draft payable in favor of Central Coalfields Limited B&K Area, payable at SBI, Phusro Bazar/Bokaro Colliery at the time of submission of tender document on scheduled date. 7. The DD towards cost of Tender Document and the Earnest money should be prepared during the sale period of Tender Document. Tender without earnest money and with incomplete document will out rightly rejected without any correspondence. The quotation should be in two parts: Part-I for credential document and Part –II for Rate/price Bid in a separate envelope. Part-II will be opened if the credential as per Part-I is found satisfactory as per NIT. The terms and conditions will be as follows :- 1. The Contract will be valid for three years from actual date of engagement. 2. The Vehicle should be in good condition. 3. The vehicle will be available on all days round the clock with driver. 4. The driver shall have an experience of not less than 03(three) years including valid driving license which will be deposited in first part envelope. 5. The driver and other staff of the vehicle shall be paid minimum wages as per the act of State Government by the owner and he will be responsible for meeting all statutory, obligations with regards to payment of salary, wages, and bonus etc. 6. The driver of the vehicle will be required to maintain the log book on daily basis and countersigned by the controlling Officer-In-Charge and the same will be produced to the P&A Deptt. of the Project/Unit concerned for verification along with bill once in a month. 7. Any taxes/renewed by the State/Central Govt. during the current period of the contract will have to be borne by the Contractor/Owner. 8. The driver of the vehicle will not be allowed to carry any outsider or unauthorized persons, materials etc on the vehicle. P.T.O. - 2 – 9. All the maintenance costs of the vehicle will be borne by the owner of the vehicle. In case of any breakdown/maintenance etc. alternate vehicle will be provided by the owner. In case of alternative vehicle (meeting all the conditions as stipulated under NIT) is not provided in case of breakdown, double charges on daily basis shall be recovered as penalty. 10. In case vehicle meets with any breakdown/accident etc. the complete charges for damages caused to the vehicle and loss of company’s property, the cost has to be borne by the owner. 11. The rate quoted by the tenderer must be inclusive of complete cost of the crew spares with all statutory taxes, road permit, insurance and commercial (Taxi) permit. 12. The P.O.L. (Diesel & Mobile) for the vehicle will be provided by the Owner which will be reimbursed as per market rate to the extent Deisel-01 Ltr/10 KM run and Mobile-01 Ltr/500 KM run. 13. Mode of payment: - Payment through Electronic Transfer System/RTGS/NEFT/CBS/Intra Bank Transfer. 14. The tenderer must have the vehicle owned by him/her or any other person who is in sole agreement with the tenderer to provide the vehicles for this purpose. 15. Credentials documents to be submitted in (PART-I) envelope: - Experience of the similar work, Self attested copies of Registration/Owner Book, Valid Insurance & Commercial/T- Permit, Tax Token, Fitness Certificate, Copy of agreement with the other person for engaging the vehicles by the bidder for CCL if the vehicles are in other’s name, PAN Card, Service Tax Number(ST-2) (if applicable), Affidavit(issued within one year from date of tender) i) Certifying that the bidder is not involved in any criminal case, ii) That he/she/they is/are not related to any employee of CCL & not employ any relative of CCL employees, iii) That he/she/they is/are not indulge in unauthorized occupation of CCL Quarters or encroachment of CCL Land, Valid Driving License, Bank A/c No. of owner authenticated by banker, P.F. Registration No. of the intending tenderer, ESI Regis. No. of the intending tenderer (wherever applicable) & E/money along with tender document duly signed on each page in acceptance. 16. The L1 rate will be arrived from the tenders received. If it is found that the L1 party is not capable of providing all the vehicles as per NIT, the company may counter offer L1 rate to L2 party for rest number of vehicles and to L3 party also if L2 party refuses and so on. 17. The tenderer have to produce all the original credentials for verification before the Tender Committee after opening 1 st part envelope . (PART-II)--- The Rate/price Bid: Rate will be submitted by Bid Form in part-II envelope. The Management reserves the right to accept or reject the tender without assigning any reason whatsoever and distribute the work amongst more than one tenderers. Upper Kargali seam was planned and worked under the name of Govindpur OCP. The same report was expanded to include the underlying Bermo seam under the name of Govindpur Expansion OCP. The present Govindpur Ph-II OCP was planned as a new project to extract coal up to the lower most opencastable seam (i.e. Karo-VI seam) including area already worked in Govindpur OCP & Govindpur Expansion OCP. Total leasehold area of Govindpur Ph-II OCP includes both virgin and worked area. The name Govindpur Ph-II is incidental as in Ph-I, the upper seams of Kargali and Bermo have already been worked under the name of Govindpur OCP & Govindpur Expansion OCP (Not as Govindpur Ph-I OCP). History of Mine The PR of this project was prepared as a new project. The report proposed to exploit the upper Karo Group of seams (Seam VI to XI) based on the “Geological Report on Coal Exploration Govindpur North Block, East Bokaro Coalfield” prepared in Dec 2001 and the area south of Bermo Seam incrop upto 180 m depth line on Seam-VI floor in the south, bounded on the east by Mantico Nalla and on the west by Borrea Fault (F7-F7). This is a sector not covered in the geological report of Gobindpur North block (2001), and has now been defined for including additional reserves south of the original limits of Gobindpur North block.

This Annual Environmental Statement has been prepared as per the Gazette Notification No. G.S.R. 329(E) dated 13 th March’92, the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India. E-2 Bokaro Opencast Project of Central Coalfields Limited is located in the East-Bokaro Coalfields of Bokaro Distt. of Jharkhand state. The mine block is situated on the north of Damodar river after railway line. The total area of the block is about 7 sq.Km.The project location and other surface features are given in the plan annexed as ANNEXURE . E-3 The annual target of production for the year 2015-16 is 70000 Tes. The project has achieved the production during 2015-16 is 84113 Tes. E-4 The Environmental Monitoring was carried out quarterly as per the guide lines of Ministry of Environment & Forest(MOEF).The Environmental Monitoring results for four quarters of 2015-16 are appended as ANNEXURE. E-5 Ambient air quality is monitored to study the level of air pollution. The main air pollutant is suspended particulate matter(SPM).It is difficult to quantity the amount of air pollutants generated due to opencast mining. E-6 Water is not directly used during mining for coal production. It percolates into working area during mining operation. However ,water is consumed for other purposes ,mainly for dust suppression.
