The Lady Flucos basketball team lost a tough game in the Division III state tournament quarterfinals on Saturday against the Greensville Eagles; the final score was 57-47. The game started with the Eagles winning the jump ball and making a few quick points. The Flucos strug- gled with a dry spell of points in the first four minutes of the first quarter. With four minutes left in the quarter, the Flucos stepped up their game, ending the first quarter behind with a score of 16-12. At the beginning of the second quarter, the Flucos hit their second dry spell. Halfway through the sec- ond quarter, the Flucos found them- selves behind with a score of 22-12.
