CRIME REPORT Rape accused still behind bars A case where a man was charged with raping his 10-year old niece was heard in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court and postponed to 16 February. The suspect was remanded in custody. According to a family member, the child’s mother became suspicious when she did the laundry and came upon the child’s underwear. Sakhile CPF was instrumental, after a tip-off from a community member, in the suspect’s arrest on 17 October last year.
